I think in my short time on eBay I have run across about 10 to 20 customers who have done this, and only one of them (a repeat buyer) has bought an item after I have painstakingly looked through my inventory just to give them precise measurements of something that they will never buy.
I stopped taking measurements of items about halfway into my first 1,000 listings, because it was slowing me down too much and was causing me to lose motivation in listing items.

Do you mean in her listing photos or social media photos?
Photos - I didn't look at whatever SM they use.

That assumes that her objective is to sell anything on eBay.
5 sales yesterday, not too shabby.
Not trying to beat a dead horse, but she has dropped her prices across the board, in some cases by 95%.
THAT's why she's had a few sales.
So, people badger her about her prices so she drops them to get sales moving.
This has turned into another 7th grade dogpile.

That's exactly what a buyer expects - an answer. It's common sense as a seller to answer it, if you want a sale. Respect goes very far. I couldn't agree with you more.

Can sellers use celeb pictures in their profile on here? I never saw that before.

Sellers can use any old image, I'd say. The odds of anyone complaining about their avatar image (aside perhaps from obvious copyright violations, such as using the eBay logo) are slim to none, and Slim just left town.
I had considered posting a photo of myself in my listings, but decided it would get too much attention...

When avatars were introduced back on the old boards, there were all sorts of fun photos of celebs being used on the vintage clothing and accessories board. My favourite was Laurence Olivier from an old theatre bill.
ETA: I just remembered I had Albert Dieudonne who played Napoleon in Abel Gance's film - man, that was a long time ago!

Ay, there's the rub.

LOL, now if you had posted a pic of Errol Flynn that would have gotten my attention. Clark does nothing for me, but I think I'm in the minority with that. He was a head-turner to many back in the day.

I love Laurence Olivier. No better Heathcliffe imho. I've never heard of Albert and had to look him up. My fave from those golden days was Basil Rathbone. True story, that's who Margaret Mitchell had in mind when she was writing Rhett Butler. I was very disappointed when Clark Gable was cast. He was not who I envisioned as Rhett and found out last year about Ms. Mitchell's muse.

Well, you seem to circle back to their posts, but I would have passed any of that facebook nonsense by and just answered the OP's question. People have strange quirks - it's human nature.

I liked Basil Rathbone, too - I can just remember his Sherlock Holmes. He would make a good Rhett, but honestly, I thought Clark Gable had the stuff, too. Albert Dieudonne came into public consciousness again when Abel Gance's film was restored and released with an excellent score. It was a huge hit in Seattle, which has always been a movie town. What got me was the striking resemblance of Dieudonne to a young Napoleon, and the expressive acting and characters that was so much a part of the silent era. The cinematography was groundbreaking.
The other silent that actually really moved me was The Passion of Joan of Arc which I saw a few years ago, with the Orlando Consort (Medieval singers) providing the live score. I've gotten really more interested in silent movies since then. It's funny, because I'm more of a sandals n' swords type and like stuff like Gladiator, etc. lol - which saw it three times.

It's good customer service to include all the details. It also saves time because when questions arrive you need to dig out the item and spend time measuring and answering the customer. If I see a listing missing info I just move on to a listing that does. You are losing business

Buy a tape measure and include the height, length etc. in a pic
Add the length, height etc. to your item specifics
Of course people are going to question the dimensions if your are not including them.

Ahh, yes, Sherlock Holmes. He did his justice though I he was terrific in the movies with Erroll too - Captain Blo od and Robinhood to name a few. I will have to check out the two movies you mentioned. That was truly the golden age of hollywood when the actor's faces conveyed all the emotions necessary. Wait, so did they re-release the Passion of Joan of Arc with the Orlando Consort? That must have been amazing!! I love their Medieval Christmas, though all of their music is very soothing to me. I don't think I've ever met anyone that even knew who they were. Small world.

I saw it in a local theatre - the movie with the Orlando Consort live on stage - the entire experience was haunting and riveting at once. The final scenes with Joan in flames on the pyre and Antonin Artaud (who played a very compelling priest) holding a cross towards her, you could see that he was passionately chanting, then the common people of Paris at last erupting into a riot while she burned, the consort in full voice. At the end we all kind of sat stunned for a moment, the burst into applause. The only times I've been stunned into speechlessness after a performance was when I saw Mahavishnu John McLaughlin and another time a very fringe production of Trojan Women.
I saw They Died With Their Boots On with Errol Flynn - he was quite something! And say, speaking of Laurence Olivier - check out his Richard III on DVD - its really good.
LOL - ask me about theatre lol - I go on and on.
