We old folks had our munchies early and are going to enjoy a quiet evening with a book and the dogs. I wish you all have a fun but safe New Year's Eve!
Enjoy but not too much - especially if you're driving! We'll see you in the New Year - where hopefully - we have loads of sales and lots of fun here!

Husband is sick from something he ate at Mohegan Sun.
So it will be a quiet evening here.
Wishing you and yours and all my fellow posters a Happy and Healthy New Year.

Mohegan Sun! Went there a long time ago, it was really something to see!
Happy New Year, everyone!

I'll make a rack of lamb and chocolate cake (well, that's already in the fridge with the bubbles) for dinner.
We usually discuss our finances and home renovation plans. So romantic.
At the family Boxing Day gathering, we were being encouraged to have a big party for our 50th anniversary in July. So I guess part of 2018 is set in stone.

Maybe someone should throw a big party and invite you, so you don't have all the work!

Somebody is shooting off fireworks around here already, half an hour ago, now it's gone quiet...if I want to get a nap in now's the time.
Here's to a successful 2018 selling business for all, regardless of where you sell it, maximize the profit and get it sold!

Full moon on the 2nd and another at the end of January. Blue Moons. Then another pair of Blue Moons in March but no full moon at all in Feburary. Weird!
All over my semi-rural neighborhood folks have been setting off fireworks for a couple of hours now. I worry about my kitty Cleo (a recent stray adoptee who is mostly feral); she's terrified of guns and that's what the fireworks must sound like to her. But she won't come in the house; all I can do is say a prayer and hope for the best.
I made my very favorite supper (a recipe I found in a 1918 cookbook when I was a kid) tonight. And I'm gonna go to bed early (well, after I've tidied up the kitchen) in spite of the noise from the bottlerockets and the screamers.
Wishing everyone a 2018 full of goodness.
It's the Year of the Dog, and I sure hope that dog is friendly.

I was a bartender for years so New Years has always been a hard working day for me. Now I just sit back and relax.
