Had a neutral feedback disappear from my feedback?

Thought it kind of strange that I had a neutral feedback disappear. The feedback was posted in April and the item ID number does not even show up in the feedback list.

I never questioned the buyer that left the feedback and the feedback had been on there for awhile.    I never responded to the feedback.

I am not complaining,  just thought it was strange.

Anyone else ever had this happen or have an explanation for why it is gone?

do they still remove feedback if a buyer goes NARU?  They used to, but not sure today.......  or perhaps they were deemed an "abusive" buyer?

The policy about removing feedback left by NARU'd members has changed over the years, but usually only applies within the first few months after registration.  The most recent policy IIRC removes it only if malicious.  Which could be true of feedback left by any buyer -- there is definitely a policy about removing all feedback left by buyers who routinely leave excessive amounts of bad feedback.

Was there a return involved?  I see you offer free returns which offers extra protections on feedback.

Having said that, I had a negative disappear last month after wearing it for a couple months.  I had not responded, reported, or discussed with any ebay employee.  There was a not as described return involved, which went normally (I got it back and immediately refunded).  I do not offer free returns, which didn't come into play anyway.  That buyer is still registered, and another neg they gave over the past year is still showing--nothing excessive there.   weird

With all due respect, perhaps they are testing and working out the kinks on an aspect of the new seller protection that is in the offing?

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

The foolishness of one's actions or words is determined by the number of witnesses.

Perhaps if Brains were described as an APP, many people would use them more often.

I thought of that.  I am a TRS, but  I'm still not clear on why it qualified for removal, but I'm definitely not complaining.

No return involved.  Just a standard type neutral. Should still be in my 6 month column.

If excessive heat rules this weekend in east Texas, I may get on the computer later today or tomorrow and see if I can look the buyer up and check their status.

There has to be rhythm or reason?  Perhaps working on finding out how to put it back?  Respectfully speaking, that is.
