Hi, I sold an LV purse with authentication. I am at the screen where I select a shipping label. My item reaches the signature required threshold and it says that it's been automatically chosen?
It also looks like the buyer chose ground saver but that option has no signature, so I will likely choose a different UPS option.
Also, it is going to the authenticator first. Is the shipping label I'm choosing applying to both the authenticator AND the buyer for signature required? I want to make sure that I selected a shipping label that requires signature for the buyer ultimately.

When eBay ships to the customer from the authentication center they will add the signature requirement if it is required (over $750).

Going to be Ebay's dime if it's lost between the authenticator and the buyer. I'd certainly require sig from you to the authenticator tho on that $1200 amount.

I guess I'm confused on how to approach shipping this. I only see a screen that lets me choose one label. Am I to assume that whatever label/options I choose apply to all steps of this sale?

The label that you choose only gets the item to the authenticator. As other posted, from there on it's on eBay for the label and service.

So does this mean ebay will also add signature requested when they send to the buyer since my item is over the threshold?

Yes, but also that you don't need to even think about that part of the process.

@justrightclosetsale you can't scroll down, at least to add insurance? I've never done one to an authenticator..... but I would think one could add insurance?
From the authenticator to the buyer is Ebay's worry.......you're not liable if it does not get there.....
