The item was shipped on time but arrived 2 days late to buyer. I recieved negative feedback because of this. Is there any protection under gauranteed delivery for this situation?
I am on the handling time option.

Call CS and ask to have it removed. With the handling time option eBay is responsible for the issue.

I have but the agent did not seem to know anything about it. Possibly she was new since she didn't even know much about the gauranteed delivery program.
I will try again in a few hours with another eBay rep.

If you shipped within your handling time, you did what you were supposed to do.
That feedback should be removable when you call CS.

more likely. they'll keep the program, but just start charging the seller $10 for missing the goal.

@Anonymous Hi Trinton, why would a CS rep NOT know about the GD program and how issues should be handled? We still are seeing a lot of posts where the CS staff don't seem to have a handle on things that you would expect they are up to speed on....

If you uplode the tracking to ebay and it shows that it was sent on time they should consider removing it.

If sellers who choose the handling time option meet their same-day or one-day handling time but the item is delivered late, can buyers leave negative feedback?
eBay will remove negative feedback on shipping if sellers who choose the handling time option meet their handling time commitment and the package gets scanned but the guaranteed item still arrives late.

Thank you for all the responces. It was finally removed but I did still offer the buyer a partial refund.

It is possible to ship within your handling time and use a different (slower) service which could have the outcome the OP mentioned. I am not saying this is what happended.
