Got 500 free listings offer, still charged for listng

Yesterday I received an offer of 500 free listings. It didn't start until today, so I waited until today to accept the offer. Now when I post something I am charged a listing fee. What happened? I am no where near my selling limits.

Not sure what offer you received, but the one I got was only for auction listings.

The offer was for both, I have tried both and charged for both...

Are you sure your offer includes fixed price?  My offer is only for auctions including buy it now (on the auction).  

If you are referring to this ID, I didn't see any newly listed auctions, I only see fixed price listings.

I went through the motions to sell an item, but stopped when it showed a listing fee.

The offer i received was only for auction and auction with buy it now option. It did not include the straight forward buy it now.

With respect, is it possible that you misread the promo missing the auction with buy it now as a buy it now alone included?
