After 23+ years I'm cancelling my account. In 2000 they used to be a reasonable and intelligent company and they have devolved into a mindless corporation that can't even fix its own issues. Last straw: they made an error in my listing I had to cancel the order (or lose money) and they still allowed a "buyer" to leave negative feedback. You know what eBay? I had 23+ years of 100% positive feedback never a single negative until you created a problem and refused to accept responsibility for it. So that was my 1st negative and my last sale. Good Bye and I will never look back...

Negative Feedback from the buyer said you 'wanted more money' for shipping- is that correct?

How did Ebay make an error in your listing?
You set up the shipping, not Ebay.

Did you really do this ?
Seller claims that eBay charged me too little for shipping and wanted me to pay extra via PayPal. Seller then canceled the sale over $2.39!

Ken, it is always the fault of someone else, we know that....
Hitting the buyer up for $2.39 and then cancelled the order, inexcusable..... well deserved neg.

Wishing you the best in your future efforts wherever that path may take you. Buyers and sellers come and go everyday on this platform but always sad to see a long time seller leave especially over such a small issue.

eBay can afford to lose sellers, especially those that increase the price after the sale. Regardless, something tells me that you will be back.

Wait... You had such great sales during November. Yet your "last straw" bar is set at two dollars and thirty-nine cents? 😑
I mean... most returning sellers complain about their funds being on Hold or buyers using the MBG or other such issues.

This is a learning experience for ebay that error will sometimes result in consequences with another ebay seller saying bye bye

This mistake was your own doing.
He'll be back mark my words.
If you find another amazing peer to peer selling site please come back and share. Oh wait there isn't one. If there was we'd all be over there instead of selling at this dump.

Do you really think it was an eBay error that set the $2.99 for MM shipping ?

Especially because we ALL make shipping calculation errors upon occasion. We weigh the item in a smaller box than we end up actually shipping it in, we don't put in enough packing materials when we weigh it, etc. etc.
It happens, it's no big deal, you go "dang" and then you just swallow the cost and ship it.

$2.99 for a two pound (dbl LP) Media Mail would be the right price.........IF IT WAS YEAR 2000!
$2.99 + 2.39 = $5.38 The current rate for 2lb Media Mail
At least the OP only tried to extract the exact difference.........

After 23 years of selling on eBay, had you made enough profit to cover the $2.39?

I'm going to throw you a little lifeline with this one, can you explain what happened that was ebay's fault? It looks like you had some really good sales before this one, so it's difficult to understand the outrage.
