Lived in central Texas (Waco area) and in 1984 it was 107 F during the day 88 F at night for two straight weeks. It was dry and that dry heat was still very hot. Heck the scorpions didn't come out to play until midnight then. Oh, I did fry an egg on the concrete.

Except that eBay "new" (or whatever they would call it) would mostly be china sellers with their new penny junk
All the more reason to do it. Maybe even ebay can then see how bad it is having only those sellers on here.
Or why ebay express failed before.

I was born in Jersey City, but I also have relatives in Newark, Elizabeth, and Kearny.
That says it all.

You can laugh, but dry heat beats 90+ and humid any day! Walked early this morning, and 5 minutes in, it felt like I had just stepped out of the shower (NJ) and definitely needed one when I got home!
Ahhh...My birthplace. The toxic waste capital of the world. I even created a toxic waste drink when I lived there. 4 to 5 ozs. and you would fall down the rabbit hole until the next day.
Pray tell the ingredients. Sounds like fun if you're not planning on moving.
Water.

@kavi1030 wrote:Well, I live in Las Vegas. At this time, we are having hot humid weather! We are in monsoon season. Today its going to be 105 with 24% humidity. Temp is suppose to go down to about 100 or under next week. Not sure about the humidity. Have fun in Vegas!
24% humidity is humid? Now that's funny. Out here, and other places, we're talking humidity in the 90%+ range, right up to 100%. Now THAT'S humidity.

To answer your question:
Been to a lot of eBay events and meetups along with focus groups.... one of the best things I have received is the ability to meet great sellers and buyers!
One in particular that posts here and all over the community Retrose1 has been a pleasure and an honor to have talked to her in person and see what an outstanding seller she is and how she truly care for sellers .
Also making connections with other people at eBay and sellers is priceless.. In one event I attended I got a contact that made it possible for me to sell merchandise during the holiday season that made a profit of over 3k

Gergg has been in Oregon twenty years in January. I miss NYC but can't afford it.
The Western trajectory has been NYC-> NJ-> Ohio-> Idaho-> Oregon. Next stop should be Hawaii but I can't afford that, either.
Guess I'll always be an East Coaster at heart...

@timemachine777 are you using the listing form on eBay?

Question: Recently had a buyer purchase 93 of my items. He didn't wait for an invoice to combine/reduce shipping. Made 4 separate payments. Paid over $360 in shipping! They were books and naturally I refund the over payment(s) on shipping via PayPal. However, I don't see any reduction or refund info on eBay's side. eBay takes nearly 10% of shipping paid. When something similar happened to me in the past, I could see an icon indicating that partial refund was made and therefore assumed that eBay would credit me with the refunded amount(s). Not seeing anything this time. Just saying, if I've refunded over $300 for over payment of postage/shipping costs, shouldn't I get a credit for that .... or is eBay still gonna get nearly 10% of the shipping fees paid? Little worried, as every penny counts.
