Does eBay have you send a tracking number to an email so you can receive the payment? Or is this a scam? It is showing that the buyer paid for the item. But it is not showing up as processing funds like it says it should when I ship the item. I just want to make sure the payment went thru and that I am not getting scammed

When you look at your sold item in the sold section in under My eBay, does it show paid and ship now? That would be the only place I would be checking esp for what you have sold.
Do you have your managed pay set up and approved ready to receive payouts? Do you understand that new sellers are subject of up to 30 day holds on payout, and something in that price range could possibly be longer.

No. eBay automatically sends the tracking number to the buyer after you:
a) Create a shipping label on eBay.
b) Manually load a tracking into your Items Awaiting Shipment screen. That would be because you had a retail clerk at the counter create a label for you at FedEx, UPS or the USPS.
You can confirm that you have received payment on these two screens

is this for the $17,000 Rolex?

Oh my! I do hope the OP isn't selling an expensive item like that on eBay. Take it to a pawn shop, or jewelry store and sell it.
And I bet that item attracts some high-end thieves.
TO the OP: Sell it somewhere safer. And Get cash.

It is already sold but agree.

Are you sure your buyer has paid? Is it showing in your payment summary? What tracking number are you talking about since it has to go for authentication first? I've never sold anything that needed authenticated, but I've never needed to email a tracking number to receive payment.

In the words of Luke Skywalker (et al): "I've got a bad feeling about this."
You're a brand new, inexperienced eBay seller, with absolutely NO feedback -- but you just sold an expensive $17,000 Rolex watch (okay -- reduced price after "make an offer").
So -- what could possibly go wrong?
Short answer: EVERYTHING.
Your "buyer" may open an "item not as described" case against you -- which you will no doubt lose.
Or your "buyer" may contact their credit card company, and refute the purchase -- which you may also lose.
Or your "buyer" may claim that there was no watch inside the package shipped to them (that's another "item not as described" case to watch out for, by the way) -- and you'll lose.
These are only a few of the hazards involved with attempting to sell an expensive item on eBay.
Want some advice? Cancel the order -- use the excuse "problem with buyer's address" -- and take the defect that eBay will award you for not shipping the watch. You'll probably receive a negative feedback, as well.
Sell the watch locally -- for cash up front -- it's far less risky than eBay.
If you really want to be a seller on eBay, start cheap -- don't offer anything for sale, that you can't afford to lose. Learn your mistakes on the small stuff, before graduating to the big leagues.
And, even then -- don't try to sell anything expensive on eBay.
And don't be afraid to come back to these boards to ask questions -- we don't all bite.

Totally agree. How the heck can a new seller list something like this? I thought they set limits. I started out selling an item for a dollar, so I lost money too but not like this.

I always thought there were limits on new sellers also but from other posts on this forum it doesn't appear they apply them consistently. Maybe there is a waiver on the restriction because this item is going through one of the authenticator programs.
One thing for sue I would insure the package to the full value.

Agree talk about a HUGE target. Even with the authentication program seller has little to no protection from a CC NAD chargeback.

It depends and what it depend on, who knows?
Limits placed after first listing with a two week hold on funds after first sale.

just as a small piece of advice
Do not sell anymore High-priced items on eBay especially since you have 0 feedback unless of course you are wealthy, and a Rolax watch worth 17,000 dollars to you is not that big of a deal
I suggest that if you want to sell on eBay sell low risk items that will not you a magnet for online con artist
as suggested previous something that high value should be taken to a jeweler or a reputable pawn shop
emails can be faked
check in your seller account to see if the payment has been made
Good Luck
