Anyone else getting killed with insertion fees, I have a store & I am getting killed with these fees over the past few months, Never happened like this before, .10 per insertion but apply that to over 2,000 listings you can do the math, Why should I keep listing?

I don't know if they are doing that or just went away for some fun over the weekend.

Welcome back. We missed you. I know it will take you a little time to get through the posts that came in while you weren't available. But there are some very good posts with some good questions if you could take a few minutes to answer them it will help us to help you.

I get that, you don't need to take the time to repeat this for each post that has the same answer. There are other questions that are important too.
When did you contact them? When did they say they would get back with you?

Long thread, lots of replies ... I glanced through the Selling Fees Help Page, one 0.10 Fee I saw was for International visibility on Auction listings at or below $ 9.99.
Not sure if they do that on BIN listings ... I know they used to charge 0.10 for Store owners to use the Scheduler but I think they stopped that sometime last year.
Some on this thread mentioned it might be fore a Second eBay Category, I could not find anything on that.
In any event, hope CS gets to the bottom of it for you.

The only thing I can see for .10 a time would be, as mam suggested, the insertion fee for Premium stores once the freebies have been used up.

Nobody's* Perfect provided a link in post #53 that second categories are charged even if there available freebie listings remaining. Someone looked and saw the OP used two categories several times. The next time the OP lists this way, they should look at what they will be charged before launching.

Except I can't see how they used them all up. They have 10,000 free listings which they do not appear to be even close to using up and then they do listing in some of the categories they can get up to 50,000 additional free listings.
The only thing that makes sense to me is that they list a lot of their listings in two categories. The fees on the second category can't be used from their allotment of free listings.
I've asked this question of @meme6253 but they have not answered it yet. I have also asked them to take a look at their Promotion box in their Seller Hub and tell us what it says, but so far they haven't responded. It is also possible that the details of the charges going through their MP account will also tell us what that additional 10 cents is actually for.

I've already told you one way they could have easily used up all their allotted listings. End and sell similar. Others have suggested also that using the second category could also add to the extra charges.
Just go ahead and end and sell similar your store every day for a month, and get back to us how much extra you pay. There are lots of people who think that "helps" their sales to do that every day. The OP isn't answering questions, so I think it's safe to assume they have done something that was mentioned in this thread and just will not fess up. I believe they are pleading to CS to get their money back, and I doubt they will get back anything. The OP has a history of coming here and not liking any of the solutions they are offered. Had they told us what they were actually doing, then this would have been put to rest already. They are not seeking a solution, they just want to complain some more, no surprise.
At least I can get a chuckle about the extra fees they had to pay.

@farmalljr Lots of good posts on this thread with potential explanations as to why the additional 0.10 fees but as is often the case (and yes I've done it too in the past) ... "operator error" ... or in this case a Seller's mistake not noticing the additional Fees as @fern*wood eluded to in a very recent post upthread.
It reminds me of a post from a UK Seller back in 2018-2019 when the GTC mandate went into effect ... they were faced with Insertion Fees on 9,700 items that automatically Relisted on them ... talk about an "ouch" charge.
In any event, I think this dead horse has been beaten beyond recognition so I will Unsubscribe to this thread and move on ...

I was thinking that initially, that the fees for upgrades (ie. 2nd category) were charged separately from the free insertion fee, but I couldn't find anything under fees that stated that. It just said you'd be charged an insertion fee for a second category, so logically you'd think it would just be an insertion fee charged against your free allotment.
