Free returns

I went on free returns months ago. Unfortunatly when a buyer goes to search out free returns on the left side of there search screan there is an area that says new with tags, free shipping , free returns . My 1650 items does not show up. I have now spoken to the concirege department over 50 times about this including 2 supervisers and a manager. I still have to pay for the items shipped back to me. My problem is my sales are hitting rock bottom selling 1/2 of what I sold last year with with 300 more items for sale. They originally told me it would be fixed by August 13th untill August 15th .This is 2 months later and still know results. I cannot aford to sit with 1/2 a million dollars of merchandise in my home. The concierge department is very polite but that is getting me know where. Does anyone else out there have the exact problem as I do with the free returns policy.

Free returns

Yes others are having the issue as well & I see your TRS plus badge shows in the listings so I would know you offer the free returns but all buyers wouldn't unless they open your listing & see the free returns

I see you have 1596 listings yet when I filter from the left  column for Free returns it only returns 14 items !!!!

Free returns

We offer free returns also and it has made it much harder to make ends meet.  With sales at a all time low and we basicly flipping the bill for someone to decide if they like the item or not has done nothing but make things go from bad to worse.  For the first time in over ten years we are looking into shutting our store down due to all the changes that hurt sellers.  Best regards

Free returns

I've pretty well always offered Free Returns and the arrival of a publicized Free Returns policy has had no effect.

Basically, because what I sell rarely has returns to begin with. Luck and careful descriptions.

 

While I support the idea that the seller should pay return costs on a misdescribed or damaged item, I'm not as sure that wanting to have that policy publicized is a good idea.

I think it attracts "renters" and those who will buy several of an item, just as if they were taking ten garments into the fitting room to choose one.

 

This is nothing new. My sister's MIL was notorious in our family for buying a new dinette suite for delivery just before sister's wedding shower, and returning it the day after. My sister celebrates her 60th anniversary in November.

Free returns

Thank you for your reply. I am trying to post this problem on twitter but it says my account is suspended, and that is very strange since I have never been on twitter before. Are your sales also down because of this and is eBay going to help you with the problem.
