Forced to switch to new sellers HUB

Well it seems we have no choice but to take the new sellers Hub

I've been ebaying for 17 yrs I have very much lost interest  in wanting to list anything

Thanks Ebay!

Any solutions for getting back the classic old school selling features page greatly appreciated .

First thing I did in seller hub was to click the customize link and get rid of most boxes.  I have Selling Tools  at top center and if you look down to View My Ebay Selling that link will take you to the classic format.

Nope!  It's a done deal and unfortunately we have to live with this ugly clumsy mess.  You can opt out of the seller's hub, but the all selling page format has also changed for the worse.

Here is how to opt out of the seller's hub:  Go into your seller's hub, on the left hand side under selling tools, you will see at the bottom of that section to opt out of the seller's hub.

You will not like what you see with the new selling page either but these will be the only two choice that we have to try and make this work.  I am actually using both features for different areas.  Some features I like better in the seller's hub and other features I like better in the selling page so I have both features open.

Re: Forced to switch to new sellers HUB

Stop complaining and give the Hub a thorough trial.

You might find that it turns out to be vastly superior to the old My eBay.

Been there, done that.  Liked the old format better due to the ability to see everything on one page.  I used both, the seller's hub and the old all selling page...each format had benefits.

Re: Forced to switch to new sellers HUB

Please believe me!  I was just as upset about the seller hub when it first came out as you are.

Give it a chance.  Use it for a week or two.  You'll end up getting used to it ... maybe even liking it.  😉

That's largely true. eBay seems determined to migrate all sellers to Seller Hub eventually, and so it's probably a wise choice to learn how to use it.

HOWEVER, you can still use the old selling pages, at least for now, if you wish. I do, but I've planned a switchover to the corresponding Seller Hub pages when eBay finally makes the old pages go away.

Go here,

https://www.ebay.com/mys/overview

All the old selling pages are still available under the "Selling" heading at the left side of the page. Don't know how long these will still be available. You might want to bookmark the link as once you've tried Seller Hub, it has a habit of 'trapping" you and not letting you go back to the old pages. HTH.

Re: Forced to switch to new sellers HUB

Seller Hub has been around for a long time I have been using it for around two years I think. Like you I hated it at first. But customize it and run it on a large PC screen you will get used to it in the end. Now days I find it superior to the old myebay selling page. You just need to give it time and get used to where to find everything on it.

Re: Forced to switch to new sellers HUB

I wish Ebay would just stop changing things and let us have a choice if we want to use seller hub or not. I also like the classic old selling format. I have been selling on Ebay since 1998.  I don't have time to learn the new seller hub. Please let us choose which format we prefer.

Re: Forced to switch to new sellers HUB

Seems the best possible solution , minimize alot of boxes that aren't needed and still get somewhat of a classic view of whats listed .

Still feel Ebay should allow the ones making the money to choose which format works best for them!

Thanks for the solution though!

Re: Forced to switch to new sellers HUB

please, tell me why I need to waste my time learning what I dont want to know?

I cant waste time right now giving the Hub a "thorough trial."

I need to list and have spent most of the time I had today trying to figure this out.

Right now, I need classic view,

Really, I am a small seller, I had a list of thigs to work on today on ebay

So far, I have done nothing but fight with a new system.

This doesnt help with the tiny amount of selling I do.

I have already spent a few unproductive hours today.

And sure  hasnt helped me make money.

Re: Forced to switch to new sellers HUB

How can you give something a try when you don't even know how to start it. At 68 I am not tech savvy and have been using the classic site since 2005. I don't have enough life left in me to figure out a new site.
