Greetings!
I as well wish all of you a joyous July Fourth Independence Day and that you have remembrance of the days very meaning above that of gathering with friends and/or family. Our nation stands at a point of division that has not existed for some one hundred and sixty years. As eBay vendors we are all here with similar goals in mind and as Americans our collective commonalities in our lives and that of family and friends outweigh our differences in huge measure!
So many folks at this moment in time are allowing their disdain to take precedence over that which is commonly taken for granted in everyday life in America. It is American's collective unity in that which is those important commonalities that both built and have sustained America and American's ever since the American Revolution. Yes, we have endured strife. Yes, the nation has come under risk both domestically and via foreign actors in our ancestors history yet they endured finding common ground to build upon.
America is still very young in comparison to most nations on this planet and none of us have a "right" to be free, to even have a country as the history of the world has shown time and again. It is the nations founding principles and our ancestors who provided the country we all live in to this day. Honoring them is an important aspect of Independence Day but more so than that is honoring the very foundations that afforded them and indeed each of us freedom and an ability to choose ever so many aspects of life. Most of the people in the world do not enjoy what we take for granted.
