Follow up to buyer threatening to open INR case while item is still in transit

Hello everyone! 
the buyer from my previous post opened INR after the item was delivered! 
I’m really quite scared that even though the item has signature confirmation, it doesn’t show up on the tracking number and I had to call USPS on how to a request a proof of delivery! Which shows it was delivered to the buyers address and signed for!  

I wasn’t able to add the proof of delivery on the request case but I sent a message to the buyer with it, and called eBay and told them to look into it.

i got transferred to an account specialist named “David”, he assured me that since I have signature confirmation that the case will be closed in my favor within 24 hours!

however I feel as if in the 24 hours the buyer will make up some bogus excuse and get their money back!

i called eBay twice already to get them to close the case but they told them it’ll automatically be closed in 24 hours? 
I’m so so worried considering it is a high value item!

I’m not sure who I should ask for, that can close the case now 😞

I did push them to document everything and requested a SR number.

Whoa... don’t leave us hanging! This has become quite the saga. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, ... it’s better than Cats.  Seriously- it’s kind of a cliff hanger and I am following this one very closely. I can not believe this seller is going to loose a dime. If he does, and these facts are all correct, I will definitely pull most of my expensive listings off eBay, for sure.  I really hope this turns out the way it should for this trusted seller. It is going to have very serious implications across the board.  I really hope eBay is also watching this closely.

Anything's better than Cats!.........

As for what happens here, probably means very little to overall selling policies.

There's no case law in ebay land....outcomes are often randomly decided depending on which Department and who you talk to.

It is relisted by seller on another platform. Hoping it was just returned to sender.

I am not sure what the did wrong on this transaction other than selling another high end item? The seller had signature confirmation. It's a tough call to list expensive items, but it doesn't mean you should never do it. Half of the sellers would be out of business if they never listed anything for sale. This is her niche. I wouldn't, but then again, I hesitate selling almost everything here nowadays from $15-$150.
Did I miss something? It was a long thread and I scimmed most of it.

Hair is now standing up on the back of my neck.... Something is pretty fishy here with this seller claiming the exact same thing happened ... again. Not that I have a lot of hair on the back of my neck or anything, but not a big believer in pure coincidence ...

Not a coincidence often in luxury items and electronics categories. It is more of a "likely scenerio".
Her other listings sold and listed are just normal high dollar clothing brands which don't seem to have had problems.

Do you mean you suspect something akin to Munchausen syndrome because a very similar situation was posted just a couple of months ago?
