I have never had eBay telling me to fix an issue with immediate payment before tonight, and I have never had to change anything before. Anyone know where there's even an option to do this? Thanks!

I've found that if you have the Immediate Payment Required box checked, but you don't actually have a BuyItNow price stated for that particular auction, you'll get an error.

I wasn't finding where I could turn "Immediate Payment Required" on or off. I ended up deleting my listing and creating a new one which seemed to work.

I did the same, this morning, but nada. At first, I thought it was because I used the 'sell one like it' button to frame my listing, but when I got the flag, I deleted that and built the listing from scratch, with the same result. eBay's AI help was clueless and aggravating, as usual. Chatted with a supposedly live agent, who said he'd been getting several of these, they had a team on it and to try listing again, in two or three DAYS. That's extraordinary. I would have expected 2-3 hours, not days. I'm an amateur seller, so I don't depend on the platform for anything more than supplementary income, but if even 1% of the commercial sellers are getting this, it's a big problem.

I haven't seen the 'IPR' button, either, which may be why we're having the issue. If the setting is 'on', but invisible on the page, you can't turn it 'off', for an auction listing with no BIN.

i'm dealing with customer service right now ebay is acknowledging the error is on their end, they've been working on a solution since yesterday. In my particular case I do NOT use business policy and I do NOT require immediate payment yet I am getting the same error message about Immediate payment. I've been thru 4 representatives before I got one reading current notices about the problem.

You can uncheck immediate payment required in the Payment section of the listing form.
Click the three dots next to where it says “eBay Payments “ then click edit policy, then uncheck immediate payment required.

all I can say is I have had immediate payment required turned on for years, it's so nice to never get people that never pay. People will come up with every possible excuse in the book and then some or they ghost or they promise to pay next week or when I get my paycheck, gaaah, begone.......

I'm having the same problem and payment options tab is not there this is for sure a bug and pure **bleep** because I'm swamped with items ready to list. Just my luck thanks eBay.

Same here, super annoying

Are they every going to fix this or am I the only one still having this problem? I have to add a BIN to list auction style and it's annoying.

I figured out a work around but its annoying. Schedule your auction drafts for a far out date and make sure there is a buy it now price entered. After submitting and listing the items, go to the scheduled listings. Click on each item and select "Sell Similar". Once there, remove the buy it now price and save to draft. After you finish selling similar on each item and saved to your draft, delete the scheduled listings. You should now be able to list the draft items with no issues. It's stupid but it works for me.

Hmm not a bad idea. I'm now thinking I might be able to make that even easier buy hitting sell similar on any of my active listings and just change everything. I'll try this next time I want to list something auction style right now I'm swamped with BIN listings to get listed.
It's crazy they still haven't fixed this, we know that they know about the issue. You would think a company like eBay would have some of the brightest IT minds in the world working for them.

Have yet to run into a person that had all A's or 4.0 on their report cards or college transcripts. Baseball players with a .300 batting ave. are view as great but that means they messed up .700 of the time.

I talked to an eBay CS rep last evening who said that she would submit a help ticket so hopefully this gets resolved soon.
