Hey people,
I’m back with another newby selling questions regarding fees.
On a recent payout of $190.00
I see my fees are $27.14
The shipping label was $7.60
So I have a net of $155.26
The direct deposit ends up being $145.10 to my bank.
I am at a loss as to where $10.16 disappeared to.
I don’t see any notice of deduction coming from my bank.
Anyone?…..any ideas?

You offered free shipping on that item. Buyer would have paid you the $190 plus possibly state sales tax.
When you offer free shipping, you hopefully have rolled the shipping cost into the price charged to your buyer because someone has to pay for shipping. In this case, that someone is you.
And you do know there was a final value fee that you would pay to eBay which would be calculated on the total amount the buyer paid to you, the seller?
Since you have not mentioned whether there was state sales tax or not, that means some info is missing, so am going to allow someone else to hopefully provide a better answer.

Buyer paid sales tax...........and ebay paid it to the state for you..... Your GROSS sale was $190 + the tax.....
For future reference, if you click on "order details" next to the item title in paid and ship.......it gives you a total breakdown.

Go to your "Paid & Shipped" on the Seller Hub
https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:PAID_SHIPPED
On the line that has that sale, click the "Order Detail" number above the item pictures.'
it will look something like this 15-09937-99350
Scroll down to and look to the right column. The complete breakdown for that sale is there.....
You can also go to this page
click the processing funds and see what it consists of......
or the transaction with the payout to see what that payout consist of

The spray gun air cap?
It sold for $190.
Minus shipping
Minus ebay fees (13.25%)
So that sounds about right.

I take it back.
Actually you're right. It's abut $10 short.
Please come back and let us know what your seller hub says.

click either circled area to see the breakdown of your 145.10
"See Details" or the "Payout Number"

your $190 payout sale is likely not the only thing included in that "payout" of $145.10.
"Payouts" are not for each individual action on your account.
Likely something else included.
Go to the sellers hub>
Hover on "payments"
Click on "Payouts">
A page will open with all "payouts">
Click on any "payout" to see what was included/charged in that "payout"

Fees based on (purchase price + shipping + sales tax) plus 30 cent handling charge. Additional fees of 1.65% if customer has international account. Additional fees if you "promoted" this item.

OP has stated the fees ($27.14) associated with the sale of the item.
I'm going with and sticking to the idea that there were other charges associated with that "payout" resulting in the $10 or so less amount.

OK, I see the breakdown of the sale and all the taxes paid etc.
I see no additional $10.00 fee anywhere.
As I stated earlier, the eBay payout to bank was for $155.26.
When I log in to my bank I see, $145.10.
I can’t account for $10.00 that disappeared somewhere between the notice of payout (after fees paid) to the deposit to my bank?

So for sure your seller hub "Payout" (the circled area in my picture)
is 155.26 with that Payout ID?
And the item in your bank account (145.10) is FROM EBAY PAYMENTS?

In this case, and I could be wrong because I’m new to all these things.
I see the payout directly tied to the one sale item.
I see the net payout, but when going to my bank, I see an eBay deposit for 10.00 less.
And, there is no explanation for this difference.

Regardless,
The net eBay payout to me (after all fees are paid) does not match the dollar deposit I see in my bank.
I’m $10.00 short at my bank.
And I see no accounting of this difference anywhere.
Confused!

I see no breakdown of the missing $10.00 as a fee or in any other form on the seller hub details.
It appears that the eBay payout to my bank is where the mystery lies.
