I'm getting charged $2 per payout for an Express Payout Fee. Can anyone tell me what that is and the basis of assessment?
Thanks.

Honestly, I have never switched from the classic view to the seller hub. I thought since I don't sell very much, maybe 14 items a year, I didn't think it was necessary. For others who sell thousands of items, then I can see why. I'm just sort of a part time some time seller. And that's ok by me. As long as people appreciate my work, I'm happy.
Have a lovely day.

I just didn't know it was still available after all these years. Your reasoning for staying with the classic view is a good one. I would likely do the same. So on the classic view you don't have a tab or place that gives you the details of your Payment Account?

I understood the thread. Please stop correcting things that don't need correction. The post I was responding to was clear. While the info you provide is valuable to many, it was unnecessary to call me out and suggest what I posted was incorrect, which it wasn't.
@mam98031 your post said:
"If you don't want to pay that fee, choose another payout timeframe. The other options do not have a fee."
It is incorrect to say that if one does not want to pay the fee, all one has to do is choose a different payout timeframe because Express Payout to a debit card can be used for scheduled payouts (and in fact the details of the OP indicate that is the case) and if a debit card is set up as the default payout method for scheduled payouts, the seller will be charged the fee - regardless of what timeframe they select.
It is also incorrect to say "the other options do not have a fee" because again, as explained they can and will have a fee, if the payment goes to a debit card.
You then posted another comment with a screenshot of the different schedules and said "There are four methods other than the Express Payout to choose from."
Again, that shows you (along with many others) were/are confused in believing that Express Payouts are different than or the opposite of scheduled payouts when, as I showed in my post, that is clearly not the case.
That post is not correct and is misleading because again it makes it sound like all one would have to do to avoid the fee would be to select one of those other four methods, which would not in fact avoid the fee - the only way to do that would be for the seller to change their preferred payout option as I indicated.
There was nothing personal about my post and there's no need to be defensive - I wasn't correcting "you", I was correcting incorrect information you provided (likely through no fault of your own - as I said, many people have been confused by this and incorrect info about it has been posted on other threads by other users too.)

OK, maybe I could have and maybe should have expanded my post. As always, thank you for the information.

@ckimodog I see you already got a few links, but here's more info from the eBay policy and help pages too.
https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/payments-and-fees/payouts-on-demand
One caveat, if you do opt in to have the option to request On Demand payouts, you can't have regular automatic payouts set to a Daily Schedule and it will default to weekly instead.
However, you can still go in and request an On Demand payout via ACH for free once a day, so you could still basically keep a daily payout schedule if you needed to, you'd just have to manually trigger the payouts instead of having eBay do it automatically.
Hope that helps!

It does, but nothing about Pay on demand. Honestly.

I've been using my debit card for payouts all along, but only noticed the fee in the last few transactions. I see from a couple of replies that this is a recent change in the fee schedule.

Thank you. Very helpful.

Thanks for the clarification. I probably got the communication and glossed over it.
