Fees on Listings sold using Best Offer question

I just read a thread and someone stated that FVFs are charged on the Listing Price and NOT the actual sold amount on a Best Offer deal ... I use B.O. on rare occasions for special deals but was curious if anyone knows the facts on this.

I just accepted an offer and the FVF was on the offer price, not the original listing price.

IME the fvf is always on what the buyer actually buys it for (ie. the accepted offer price)

Reality is the leading cause of stress.

Fees on Listings sold using Best Offer question

I have not noticed the same final value fee for best offer vs listing price. But I have not checked in over 3 years. If true, eBay would owe me some money maybe? It has to be a glitch or something sneaky.....

100% You get charged buy the actual sold price.

Also be aware that if you Promoted the listing if you accept

an offer you might be charged for that also. There is no way

to tell if you are going to be charged until after the sale.

All you really need do is to check your invoices. The amount you received, the amount ebay charged, the amount you owe, is all there.
