I am very frustrated with Ebay. They dropped my sales by 70% in March. They have been pushing for me to sell internationally even if I don’t have items that would qualify per their policies. The ad matching is very poor and can’t get any good buyers. My prices are comparable to what they were before except that everything no wcost me more soI am at bigger loss. i spent more on new inventory this month than what I made.

I went over to different platform and transferred my listing and feedback there. What got me surprised is thta feedback transferred from. Her to there is 825 while Ebay displays about 100 less. Why?

People post here to discuss problems, primarily, and get others advice and take on things.

People usually don't need other peoples' help when things are going well for them.

Given many peoples attitudes, if someone posted about how great they were doing it would not be taken well, it could easily be regarded as gloating or as an in-your-face post.

It looks like you are comparing this year to last year figures. Many different economic conditions this year compared to last year. Also don't worry too much about feedback. Out of 20 sales I might get 3 or 4 of them to actually leave feedback. Best of luck to you.

I am comparing previous year as many of you were saying it was inflation and recession (when people including me were saying sales are dooooowwwnnnn! When Biden claimed Economy is greaaaatttt!

i think it is fair comparison and I have to tell you that this month March 2022 is worse than any other December I had before (which was always ghost town due to the nature of product I carry). So if I say I wasn’t able to pay my rent from what Ebay allowed me this months you shouldn’t question.
As for Bonanza… well I think it is very probable that Ebay is hiding feedback maybe due to glitches and technical issues. I don’t believe that other platform has any incentive to pad the feedback- no reason for that. So if Ebay lost my feedback they should restore it or at least look into the issue. I have sold way more than 850 on here. I have been selling same items for several years and i had sales of about 600/a year.

If they wanted to pad me then why not giving me an extra 1k”

Sorry that your sales are down for March "2023" , but as others post. Many factors involved. Presently you are comparing "one month". Hope things improve for you.

I understand that many do not leave feedback, so the rating is no where near reflective of our actual sales. Mine just as yours is woefully short.

My point is that eBay does not show a true "seller" feedback received. It is "padded with buying feedback.

Well actually they do show it (397) if one scrolls down enough, but the # seen up high when viewing the listing is overall feedback (764) not "seller feedback".

@partfinds Bonanza started with their Turbo-Pack Pay-to-Play thing long before eBay did, with various levels up to, I think, Platinum (haven't been there lately), and it wasn't cheap. It was also basically worthless. They had an infusion of capital some time ago and it was supposed to go into advertisement but it apparently never did. People I know who sold on there around 2010, etc., said they used to do pretty well, but had to heavily advertise.

EXACTLY AND THEY DENY YOUR FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT FREEDOM OF SPEECH TO SAY MEMBER IS DISHONEST WHEN THE FACTUAL EVIDENCE IS THERE. ALSO INFRINGEMENT OF SECURITY BREACHES ARE OF RECORD. TRUST BUSTING.
