With regards to an old topic on here with regards to Feedback. I always used to leave positive feedback for my buyers until I started getting replies that they had not received their items weeks after the sale. Of course they had received their item or else they would have let me know within days of their purchase. The sellers knew that ebay always found in the buyers favour so it was a win win situation. It would not be viable for me to send all my items recorded as the buyer would not want to pay for this especially for a 99p item. I always request that a buyer leave me feedback and if they do I will reciprocate as their feedback is proof of receipt. Very rarely does anyone do this.

If there is tracking proving delivery, then a buyer shouldn't be able to open an INR case.

If he does, all the seller has to do is post the tracking information to the case.

Is it different in the UK?

When you say it would not be viable for you to send all your items recorded, do you mean that you ship without tracking? If so, then that would be the reason that eBay is refunding the buyers because they can open INR cases and you are not able to offer proof otherwise.

There is absolutely nothing to be gained by not leaving feedback for buyers on payment.

"Of course they had received their item or else they would have let me know within days of their purchase. "

OR you can track the package (USPS, Fed Ex, UPS, etc) based on the tracking info that's uploaded when you create the label on Ebay! No guesswork there!

Feedback for a buyer isn't contingent on them being happy with the item... only if they pay on time (and you can ONLY leave positive feedback for a buyer any way)
