Error in Listing

I recently sold 2 Listings (Identical items) to the same buyer.  All was normal until I started to pack the items.   Then I discovered that there was an error in the written description.  I do cite in my listings that the photos are considered to be part of the description and they clearly show the item.   I am now afraid to ship the items.  They are bowls and the description says "coupe" (which is rimless) and the bowls have rims.

I have sent a message to the buyer explaining that the description was incorrect and asking that they let me know if they still want the items.  This all happened 4 hours ago and this purchase needs to be shipped tomorrow.

My question is--what do I do if they fail to respond.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Error in Listing

You did the right thing in contacting the buyer.

If they don't reply, you have to assume they noticed the difference and found it acceptable.

Fingers and toes crossed, ship.

Re: Error in Listing

My opinion, you listed them, they sold you ship them, after the sale is no time to be re evaluating items, if the buyer has a problem with how you described them they can return them

Re: Error in Listing

@brw00   I would go ahead and ship.

If they open a return for not as described, it's better than cancelling for out of stock bc that would be a more serious defect.
