Entering UPC Codes

Hello, I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue.  Every UPC I enter into the UPC box is coming up no match found.  I mean every single one.  I'm not talking about vintage items.  It's every item.  Sometimes I want the product info and reviews that go with the matching UPC.

I sell mainly vintage items but I have never had eBay accept a single UPC I've entered. I don't know why I bother trying.

but apparently, the most important thing to ebay is that pages scroll down for the tons of sellers who use their phones to list  (all 10 of them).

Lots of functionality has been 'lost'  besides the UPCs.

just today, I have my international shipping set to 5 countries.  Looked at a listing and it shows worldwide.

and now, the print labels screen has been changed so you have to scroll down (instead of on the top right) to get 'back to orders'

Change for the sake of change.

I firmly believe that the programmers keep changing things so that they can show their bosses that they did work.    Very few of the ebay changes are positive. It's as if they have no real sellers helping them make the changes.   When I list my hot wheels , the UPC does NOT work most of the time.  Mattel keeps changing the UPCs number and you can buy 5 new HW today for 1.19 and each one will have a different UPC.  I either use one number that works or I write N/A.  In all of my years on ebay, I have never searched for an item by a UPC number.

Thanks for the responses.  To clarify the issue, I have had product info and ratings come up after entering UPCs.  Sometimes I want this and sometimes I don't.  For example, if it is a modern electronic I want to use the product info in Ebay's system and have the ratings display if they have good ratings.  I also sell some vintage items as to where the UPC is N/A.  So, my issue is more like one UPC will work and the next 10 will tell me there is "No Match Found" when I see other sellers with the same item for sale who have entered the UPC and are displaying the product specifics along with the reviews.  So, maybe about 90% of the time the UPC will have no match when it's clear that it should.

either way, a few months ago, the item specifics and UPC were supposedly 'very important'.

Now, they rarely match and this has been going on since the horrible new listing, phone-friendly, real seller annoying,  format .

simple - just click on or type 'does not apply'

I Have The Same Problem,& I Don't Understand Because Actually The Amount Of Information On A UPC Should Actually Be Enough To Fill In Item Specifics Automatically !, & That Would Be Nice!!

that is the point - the app works at the expense of all the myriad of desktop/laptop sellers

everything is now linear as that is how phones like it

so, we have to scroll and scroll and scroll

Oh, sorry.  I can't speak to your issue with the search. I  use both computer and app  (on my laptop now).

I find it much faster to do product research and even listing with the app for me.
