Ebay said that we would be protected against defects for late shipments during winter storm blair. My account got a defect anyway. We had NO mail servive at all for days. My packages were ready and I scheduled a pickup (on time) but they were never picked up. I took them to the post office as soon as I could get out of the driveway. Could not get a call back from ebay, so I don't know if it will be fixed. They need a way to respond to defects on the seller level page.

Contact ebay in Facebook.
I doubt any of these weather event seller protections are done in the automatic pre-emptive level. You'll have to be the squeaky wheel and have ebay do a little damage control here.

Seller help is automated.
If the defects you received are endangering your TRS status you can click on Help & Contact and your individualized seller help should be there Under "Suggestions for you" to appeal the defects.

If these late shipping dings are from Blair in January they would not affect your status until the Feb 20th evaluation.
In similar situations the dings may not be adjusted until just before that evaluation.

They were items sold at the end of December with a shipping date of Jan 6. The transactions fell in the Jan 20 eval but the shipping falls under the Feb 20 eval.

Ebay doesn't follow through. Always promise and never deliver. I had the same issue during the height of Covid. Luckily I got my package back. You're on your own here. Learn the system, because they're not going to help much.
