How are sales ? Merry Christmas to all.

2022 will go down in history as our best year. From the B&M locations to marketplaces like eBay. Certainly a blow out year on eBay. Even though we sold off a physical location overseas a year ago. The last 3 years have all shattered previous records, but this year WOW. It has simply been amazing! Hope all is well for you and enjoy your upcoming holiday season.

As with Oh so many posters on these boards you are looking at the wrong end of the horse.

SALES are irrelevant. PROFIT should be your focus.

A million in sales at a 5% profit can not hold a candle to

a half million in sales at a 20% profit which can not hold a candle to

a quarter million in sales at a 50% profit.

I see Oh so many posters so focused on the SALES figure that that start discounting the price to increase sales. BUT remember, that discount comes right out of PROFIT so even if you increase your sales figure you are actually hurting yourself, not helping.

Yes this has been a very difficult year as far as keeping these prices up to the point where you can make a good profit. All across the board I have seen prices increase dramatically this year for what we sell. Like 2 x what they sold for over a year ago. Problem is, can people pay these outrageous prices for stuff. My data for this year as far as total sales is down even with increased prices. Last year we did better overall. I just keep hoping this inflation will get under control.

    I am selling tons of items even today🎄 They are selling on other sites. People are going crazy shopping today. It is only 6AM here. I am so glad no mail tomorrow.

Garbage. Site is mostly off for updates since the last day anything could be received before Christmas.

Its more “lets relentlessly update things that aren’t broken and murder everyone’s sales since its slow anyway”

Active buyers have fallen off a cliff. Probably because search yields unrelated promoted Chinese garbage or nothing and buys don’t know google shopping is the new ebay search.

Kicked but on other platforms and web site. Here as expected, nothing like it was. But I will keep listing on ebay.
