hello,

I think, before placing your first item, explore eBay and pick a good item.

That's what you should do first

good luck🤗

You have to list items that people want to buy.    No one will bid on wall hooks.  You are in Sri Lanka.  No one will buy items that you drop ship from China.   You have to list more than 2 items.   Sell items related to your country and not China junk that is sold in our stores here.  You have a lot to learn.  Go to ebay school and learn grasshopper.

1st item sell

I have no problems buying from a seller in Sri Lanka. I do, however have a problem with drop shippers. Too many things go wrong, and that percentage of failure is way too high.

I agree with others, own your stock, sell a commodity that is in - demand, and above all - set yourself above the others so that potential buyers see you.

Also... ( in general - I'm not saying you do this, but I see others do it all the time) -  DO NOT use stock photos.

And DO NOT copy- and - paste text for listings that aren't your own to make your shop look good.

I will ( and have done)  gladly buy from a shop with poorly worded listings and lousy pictures, as long as there is enough information on the actual product I'm looking to buy.

Once you are up and running, strive to improve your shop image, and business WILL come.👍
