Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone out there, knows how to address the issue of getting paid from Ebay for a pair of boots I sold to a buyer. The buyer purchased boots and the USPS was delayed. Instead of buyer contacting me regarding the issue to notify them there are delivery delays due to weather, the customer opened up a case. Ebay refunded them the money. It had not been 14 days and my tracking number was uploaded. I called Ebay to notify them the boots would be delivered the next day per USPS. The lady told me they cannot do anything about refunding me my money. I called USPS and put an intercept yet they were unable to intercept. The customer kept the boots and Ebay will not reverse the payment. The customer asked to reverse payment and I cannot. I cannot even invoice through paypal because Ebay omits the email after 14 days.
What do I do to get paid. Ebay has not responded to me. I asked for a supervisor to contact me and Ebay is worthless with someone replying to you or contacting you unless its a generic email they send out. I am looking for legal action because this is not the first time I have encountered this with Ebay. I don't think its correct they force you to use their manage payment system instead of paypal and then keep pertinent information that is needed to recover for items you sold based on their flawed system. We are forced to no longer use Paypal because of their greed, I thought I would save money yet it's been opposite with them forcing us to their system.
Any suggestions on how to remedy this issue?

I may be wrong, but if you still have PayPal and the buyer is willing to pay now that they received their order you can still send an invoice to the buyer via PayPal, I think all you need is their email address. Fighting ebay to get them to reverse this is pointless and thinking a supervisor will contact you is never going to happen. If your buyer is communicating and willing to pay now count yourself as lucky...

Lucky?.....cannot even invoice through paypal because Ebay omits the email after 14 days.

Uhhhh, yeah if the buyer is communicating and willing to pay again after getting a refund for a package that arrived late because of the USPS's ongoing delays, yes, the seller is lucky...
And i'm sorry you seem to be missing the obvious answer here, just ask the seller for their email address...

"And i'm sorry you seem to be missing the obvious answer here, just ask the seller for their email address..."
I don't write this often enough, but once you ship something that isn't paid for you do have the thief's address, right? Nuff said. Call their local police department to report them.

Did you miss the part where the OP said the buyer asked the seller to reverse the payment? That means the buyer wants to pay for the item now that they have it and the OP is trying to figure out how to be able to do it via ebay, which they can't. But if they're communicating with the buyer they can just ask for their email address and send the invoice via PayPal anyways...
Calling the local police department on a buyer who is willing to do the right thing seems like a little bit of an overreaction, don't you think? They didn't steal the item. Maybe actually read the post before you reply with horrible advice.

@ahhwhatt4422 JUST ASK THE BUYER FOR THEIR EMAIL ADDRESS AND SEND THEM THE INVOICE THRU PAYPAL. Tell them the payment was already reversed and you can't un-reverse it. Tell them you'll send them a new invoice via paypal, that you just need their email address, and they can pay for it via the PayPal invoice.

Even I upvoted your response to my mistaken answer.

Ask the buyer for their email address and send them an invoice through Pay Pal.

They refuse to. Another seller just avoided my messages. I find its almost a moot point and will have to follow up on legal action or stop selling on Ebay.

@ahhwhatt4422 eBay has made it almost impossible for buyers and sellers to exchange contact information nowadays, even when they have been in a transaction. If you have your Managed Communications with Buyers set to share your phone number, they should be able to go to the Order Details and see it.
But, If you can't figure it out that way or through messages, remember, there's always snail mail.

Actually you're only out of the boots, the money simply went back to the buyer, it did not belong to you but the boots did.

Remember, california (Small c for small minded state) is a state that condones criminal acts, even murder in quite a few cases, that's why ebay has its corporate headquarters in that worthless state. ebay just screwed me out of $200 when a buyer falsely claimed the a laptop that they bought posted "For parts of repair not working" claimed missing parts. My posting stated what parts were missing and before shipping the laptop I informed the buyer that the laptop was assembled and gave them the option of getting the laptop unassembled refund you $25 and ship it Priority Mail or I can refund you the entire amount. The buyer's response," hello, plz ship laptop as is unassembled ship it Priority Mail". On top of it all, the buyer had done the same to another seller this month and ebay in its infinite automated response still refunded the buyer. But AHah, I closed my bank accounts, opened new accounts and being that ebay and paypal are partners in crime, they're stuck with refund. I don't need either of them and won't care that there's a negative mark from both of them. If they wish, I'll gladly meet them in court because I all of the documentation to prove my case. I say that to say documentation beats conversation and in court the more documentation you have the less chance that companies like ebay and paypal will even come close to winning.

If you can’t message them a contact nbr or email, take a pic of them and attach the pic.
