How do I add / delete / rename message folders in the new version?
since We can no longer switch back to classic view

I can't swear to it, but it looks as if someone has fixed the bad-linebreak issue when editing a new message: the line would break on some random letter in the middle of a word while you were composing a sentence, instead of moving the full word to the beginning of the next line.

I'll check later to see, but that wouldn't surprise me. It's an easy fix. It was part of feedback I submitted through the comments link a few days ago.

A little more testing shows that it does seem to be fixed now. (Yes, I reported it a while back too.)
I don't mean to sound argumentative 😉, but we've seen all kinds of easy fixes here that don't get fixed (or take weeks or months to resolve), and things that do get fixed go unannounced anyway.

Hi @a_c_green. We have passed this along to the messaging team and hope to hear something back soon. We will update right away when we receive a response from the team working on this.

Good morning @dhbookds. There are certain situations where there is simply is not a next step as specific teams handle specific features. Those teams are responsible for answering questions that may arise when and if they are able to. We will update here the moment we hear something back.

Hi elizabeth@ebay , on the topic of folders, a new issue has popped up. Perhaps you could let the product team know.
I sent a test message on Nov 6. It's in my sent folder as it should be.
I sent multiple test messages today. They do not appear in sent - only in inbox. I ran this test after another user reported the problem and asked me if I could find messages in my sent folder because they cannot. My test confirmed the error they're experiencing.

Follow-up - it appears in sent after the other party responds. But as long as one party sends a message and the other party doesn't respond, that sent message doesn't appear anywhere other than the inbox. Hopefully eBay can fix this tech issue.

Elizabeth, why do the Sellers know that the new messaging system just does not work for Volume sales. Why are we the only people that know you can't cram all of the info required to do volume business on the cell phone. You do know that as a Seller attempting to manage 5200 listing as we are doing is not possible on the cell phone. As I've stated in several of these threads my company is losing $3000 a month in lost productivity due to this new messaging system. We did a time motion study to prove the number, eBay should try that, if they even know what a time motion study is (business 101). It is a giant time waster. When those on the eBay side of the fence understand I'm losing $3k a month in lost time, I'm not either listing items for sale or purchasing product all of which creates FVF, which eBay so dearly loves. Your goal seems to be clear that you want us out of business. Also clear is as long as you are extracting the FVF required to pay your share holders nothing happen to help Seller. Without Sellers it matters not if you have 131 mil Buyers. Please, looking for an honest response. eBay is damaging businesses and lives.

eBay believes that all we are nothing but people complaining and that we are unable to deal with change. Truth is eBay is like the the doctor that does not listen to his or her patient and then the patient dies. Unwilling to listen to those that pay you is just unthinkable and costly.

As a new eBay seller, I have been frustrated more times than I can count. It seems to me, they have either have super intelligent people working to micromanage some of these tools that should be very simple, or AI is now coming up with these ideas that are greatly hindering many of us. I have always believed before making changes, ask your customer's their opinions, take them seriously and then weigh out what everyone is saying and then allow reputable seller(s) to take part in creating before executing things based solely on an algorithm and ebay employees opinions who do NOT sell on the platform for a living. Just my thoughts and opinion.
