What is going to do Ebay in order to stop a collective crash and in consequence the similar destiny for the Company in general?. WITHOUT SELLERS EBAY WILL BE OUT !!

Sales died for me in April 2018. Where I was selling something almost everyday, Now it is only one or none per week. Google stopped showing eBay listings. They don't like eBay's search parameters, so Google has cut off eBay in search. This happened back in April of 2018 and it continues. If you search in Google for a widget, unless it so totally unique it won't come up. All I see when I search for common items are a few Old expired listings way down on the 5, 6 or last pages. Which if you click on it all you get is the WE LOOKED EVERYWHERE" message from eBay. Unless you go to eBay directly, you will not see items in Google search.
When you choose Shopping in a google search and then look at the left hand menu you see the list of sellers, eBAY IS NOT THERE!!!
Ebay has made Google angry once again, thinking they were bigger and better than Google. Well there not and the Sellers are suffering and Leaving. Without the Sellers eBay is done.
Without Google our sales will continue to tank. Think about all of the Millions of people who have Android Phones! All of the Millions of people who use Google for their email and searches. Without Google showing our listings when people do a general search, our sales will tank even further!
Search on eBay is so broken it only frustrates the buyer. Hiding listings and trying to predict what we are looking for will only make us look on Amazon and elsewhere for things we want or need.
Search needs to go back to KEY WORD SEARCH not this convoluted prediction method, that brings up something that I would NEVER buy! eBay Can't READ BUYERS MINDS!
Keep the names of the photos not some stupid number that eBay's random number generator makes, that means nothing to a potential buyer.
This is yet another post of the sales on eBay Tanking and Crashing. How many posts do we have to do before eBay does something about this HORRIBLE No SALES situation!!! WE HAVE NO SALES!!!! FIX IT eBay, JUST FIX IT!

I find that there continues to be a serious problem with Ebay's search engine. If I search for "children's winter hats" for example, I get multiple listings for adult hats, all with the same photos, all from a seller from China. If I search for "women's plus size dresses" I get blouses, coats, other things for both men and women. This has been a problem for a while and it makes it difficult for people to find what they're looking for. Ebay - please listen up: show people what they're asking for, not what you think they want to see.

Once again, I do not understand why ebay is not looking into this and trying to fix the searches. More sales means more money for sellers and ebay as well. Don’t they have people looking at the statistics and wouldn’t they want to improve the site?

I'm suspicious Ebay rotates views for sellers.
This past month, I've had steady views, watchers and sales even though my listings are all old and I haven't had time to put anything new up. I don't sell a lot, so for me it's very noticeable.

@designforyou wrote:I believe that EBAY is pushing NEW items in the searches more than used collectible items. My vintage market is super slow selling the last few months, however NEW Christmas ornaments and some used have been selling steadily. Also some NEW toys have sold this month. Could just be the season, however if you watch EBAYS commercials this seaon it's all about "THE NEW THING WITH FAST FREE SHIPPING".
Antiques, vintage, used collectibles don't seem to get into the searches, and in front of the eyeballs of the buyers. Searches are not returning everything, as they once did. Will watch to see if this turns around onc the holiday season is over.
Hardly. The situation in new collectible stuff is just as dire. eBay's fees are higher than the margins on new toys from a distributor. Much of what I list on eBay now is short runs with high prices and stuff I picked up on clearance. I've offered combined shipping and free shipping over a threshold for years but the buyers eBay is bringing in are too poor to qualify. It's incredible to see what sells for a 300% premium on the river and can't even muster retail price here. Sorry not sorry, I won't pay eBay to lose money.
That said, I don't shop eBay for vintage anymore because A) those sellers have gone nuts with prices and B) the trickle of sales puts them squarely in out-of-sight-out-of-mind territory.

Well, I think if they are battling their shareholder advice, ours falls on deaf ears, nice to have our “female dog” sessions, but it just is to vent, does not get us anywhere.

I agree with you.

Still, no sales and I have promoted my listings and also have dropped my prices almost 20 percent anything lower wouldn't be worth it. It is to the point I will see how many sells I make this month if something doesn't change quickly I am just gonna cancel my store. I am spending more then I am making that's not cool at all.

Well, I think I get it now. I had a long conversation with CS at ebay who basically said antiques and collectibles as well as any items without a catalog number cannot be seen on google searches for the most part, only on ebay searches. That explains why visibility is cut in 1/2 .Add to that ,without net neutrality which we lost in 2017 from my understanding, we cannot hope to get fair treatment from these large searches companies. Now that I understand what truly is the problem, I have to figure out what to do. There are other selling platforms that are going to bat for their sellers on net neutrality issues but have not heard where ebay stands on this. At least I believe I know why my sales are down so much but unless things change I do not know where that leaves the sellers like me who have mostly items without catalog numbers?
