This is the fourth time ebay has changed a price. I just sold something that I have had listed for 3.00. I did not send out any offers for this item, would never have priced it for 3.00, I am losing a lot on this. I have not received any offers for this item. They have done this twice with photos I had listed. I was working on a large collection and did not send out offers because I was still listing items. About a month they did it again on something I had listed and I did not send out any offers. I did not send out an offer for the item that sold today.

I would check all your listings (under the pricing section) be sure that AUTOFILL PRICING is turned off. If AUTOFILL PRICING is turned on (EBAY sets your selling price).
It is possible that you used a "sell similar" when you created this listing and it was accidently turned on.

Nope, I have had it listed for several months.
Is there a way to see offers that you have sent?

You can check offers you sent here on the item listing page.

You seem to enjoy nice even round price points spaced $5 apart. The simplest and most likely explanation here is that you meant to type $30.00 but typoed $3.00. This is backed up by the fact that most of them listed seem to be around the $30 price point.
If ebay somehow glitched it would be extremely unlikely that it would do so for such a nice round even number like that.

You mean the op could have made a mistake?
As simple as that? 😉

The simplest solution is most often the correct one.

FYI in looking at your items I see you have "Kansas residents pay sales tax."
You should just remove that as most states charge the buyer tax for items bought on ebay.

It was listed under a different item number for $35 and that listing was ended by the seller on July 31:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/305599620492
When the item was relisted on August 1 it was listed for $3:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/305703954527
There is no listing revision history. The listing did not sell with an offer; it sold at the buy it now price. It was posted at $3 when the new listing went live on August 1 @act_iii_antiques so as mentioned above, probably a typo.

I don't think EBay has anything to do with any prices. Perhaps you have something in your settings. If you have had sent an offer to any buyer at this price, even only once, and you did not unchecked the box Automatically send offers, any interested future buyers will get automatically an offer at this price.
