If it wasn't for those darn sellers and buyers, eBay would have no problems at all.

As to leaving FB for a buyer. No other major site allows the public shaming of buyers. It is bad business to say the least.
I personally like feedback, as long as it is factual, it is useful to me. If people could leave factual feedback - good or bad - and leave out the personal attacks - all would be well with the feedback system.
As to the glitches, I am surprised that not only have the serious buying glitches that have been hanging around are still here after a week but then there are also new glitches popping up to compound things.
I noticed the techincal complaints started with the mobile app users (which I am not) and then glitches started on our non mobile app side some days later.
Makes me wonder if these glitches have something to do with the mobile site...when they tweak something there, it somehow affects our side?
I will say that I have never seen so many issues on this site at one time ever. I hope they solve this soon.
I'm not a techie by any stretch of the imagination, but I did not know there was a separate site for mobile. I know there is a mobile app which I've read often has its own set of issues, but I thought the app access the Ebay site in a way that was doable with a mobile device. Am I misunderstanding your post or just uninformed on how this works?
All I said to this was:
"I noticed the techincal complaints started with the mobile app users (which I am not) and then glitches started on our non mobile app side some days later. "
"Makes me wonder if these glitches have something to do with the mobile site...when they tweak something there, it somehow affects our side?
Nothing more, nothing less...just "makes me wonder" as in maybe???
That is all...
Yes I know. But I'm asking in all honesty, I'm not at all trying to pick on you. Your statement says "mobile site". I have not heard that before so I asked the questions I asked above, simply for clarification as I do not know. So are you saying there is a separate site that Ebay maintains that is just for mobile users or was that just the wrong word choice?
Oh so sorry...as in mobile app site...as in the one that you download and use on your cell phone from like the Google play store...that mobile app...like below:
This is an mobile app that you need to download to your phone to use it.

Just peachy. What a mess. Prime time for sales for us too. This is disgusting.

I'm a customer more often than I'm a seller [ just ask my husband ] and I couldn't even add an item to my cart this morning without being hypnotized by that spinner thing going around and around until I finally gave up the whole idea. It's no wonder sales are so slow if buyers get put under a spell . 🙂 Tulips
No doubt there is a problem.
Was installing a new kitchen sink faucet, and having a late dinner, so I have not yet rechecked sales this evening, but prior to doing that............................... 1 sale for the entire weekend. Inventory virtually unchanged. Generally have 7-10 packages to ship on Monday mornings:(

Well, at least you beat me...I have zero sales...then again...I haven't listed anything for a while so I am cheating on this! ![]()
I'm not good at tests!![]()
I really do hope they get this all straightened out soon and everyone can get back to a somewhat normal pace...maybe I'll start listing again.

haha, yeah, i guess in order to sell you must also list... my problem is I list and list and i get a sale maybe 2 a day... some days none... it's got to the point I've been applying for job but my background in work force is mostly manufacturing and I recently moved to a state from east cost where that is basically non existent so I filed with USPS in which I took the assessment after filing and got a 96 score which makes me eligible but they don't start hiring til around late October / early November I was told by the post office...

Well, I went to check. Now have doubled the sales count, but still only 1/2 of your total count:) Oh well, less packing up to do, and will let the carrier pick up rather than making the drive.
Will give me some time to make a shipping box that needs to be 48" long so i can go live with the listing rather than just sitting on the sidelines as OOS. Can't wait to see what happens when I get a quantity of one on there. Already has 2 views without even being searchable:)

I made few boxes last week where I sold some gaming steelbooks. To save on cost instead of buying DVD sized boxes I just took some vinyl LP multi depth boxes that I actually only use for trays inside real boxes for vinyl shipments and made a few DVD sized boxes... my wife always says I'm really good at that sort of stuff but like I tell her, it takes a lot of time verses having the right box to begin with, but when a bundle of 25 cost $30 and you don't use them so often and sales are down looking to save as much costs as possible so you make a box 😉 Aside my profit on them was $3.50... so if I buy boxes I'm in the red.
