We wanted to let you know that a bid or order for the listing below was canceled because of an issue with the buyer’s account:
We understand that this must be disappointing, but unfortunately the buyer, redacted, is no longer registered on eBay so we had to cancel all of their open transactions.
Here’s what you should do
And remember, we’re here to help so please get in touch with any questions you might have.
I didn't ship the item and now I'm unsure of what to do. Do I have to cancel the order too? Ebay is saying I'm overdue shipping the item out.
Thanks for any replies.

Update:
Order is deleted. The buyers account was permanently suspended.
I chatted with EBay after nothing was done and was directed to my sold page.

If you already shipped I'd say do nothing because you'll still get paid once it's delivered.
But since you haven't shipped and you're already late shipping, I'd process an order cancellation (use problem with address) and be done with it. Relist for a non-scammer to purchase.

Do nothing. Gosh...we been getting a lot of these postings here lately.
Do not ship item out. Do not refund. Do not cancel. And usually the funds remain in your account.
A buyer can do a credit card chargeback which is why I would not do anything.
Nothing worse than mailing item out and then buyer does a credit card chargeback.
Just hold on to the money earned incase there is a credit card chargeback.
Not sure what the buyer bought...was it a lego?.

Ebay did you a big favor by warning you about this person. Most likely they were suspended prior, made another account only to try to scam again. Don't ship the item. Relist it as you will not be paid for it. Cancel the transaction due to non payment. Glad you weren't taken by this scammer.

Once in a while Ebay gets it right.

Did you get pay for this item?

Don't do anything..........ebay will take care of it...........that's what the message says.........

If you didn't ship, cancel the order using "Problem with buyer's address" as the reason, as stated. Then just go ahead and relist it.

Hi! If you see this message, couple you please tell me how you got hold off Ebay? This just happened to me after I shipped the expensive item. Thank you!

Is the item still in transit? Try and recall the package through the carrier.

Thank you for the suggestion. Yes, it is in transit. I am on hold with USPS, but honestly don't have much faith in them. I got paid for the item however I am concerned that the buyer will charge back with a credit card and Ebay will reverse the payment and I will be out of money and my item (

Were you able to re-route the item back to you?

You can make your Package Intercept request on-line. Start here:

Same thing has happened to me. I did not ship the item yet, however the money from the sale has been transferred from Ebay to my bank account already. Item still shows "paid, ship by the end of the day tomorrow" on my sell page. Question is, for those that did't take any action and let Ebay take care of it, how long did it take for that to happen? Or, will I eventually need to delete and relist?
