I am frustrated with the new ebay store. When I do a search in my own store it does not bring up all available items for that search. I have had this happen a couple times. I search for an item, it doesnt show up. I change my search, now it does. Same item. It should come up in both searches but, they wont. It doesnt happen with all items. It's random. And Frustrating!!
Is this happening to anyone else?
I tell a lot of my regular customers to check my store first before contacting me for my items. Now I am worried they arent actually getting full search results. If they can't get the full search in my own store, I may have to make my own off site, which is also frustrating!!

I can see 1400 or so listings in your store, but a few people have mentioned having issues lately

If just looking at the main page, it seems like it shows everything. It's the search that is the issue.
I tried to do a search here for some threads with similar issues and didnt find it but, I have never had good luck with the forum search.. lol
Last two items I has an issue with was Cruise control servo & smog pump bracket.
1. I searched Cruise for the cruise control servo and got 7 items, none of which was the actual servo. I changed the search and added control.. still nothing... added servo and it came up finally
2. Searched Smog Got everything but, the bracket. Added pump... still no bracket. Changed my search to "newly listed" (I had listed it a few days ago) and it shows up.

Thank you. Maybe it's my end then? Still frustrating but, at least I know my customers are seeing the proper search

So this is weird. when I click on the cruise link you offer it says 9 results but, I only see 7. Cruise control servo is not part of that list. Feeling like an Ebay glitch.

You have to include all relevant keywords. Of course no one will find a cruise servo if you do not include cruise servo in the title. You need to learn titles. Ebay hides nothing and it up to you to make search work for you.

I see 9 including cruise control servo.

So here's what I've figured out. I logged out of ebay and tried searching got all nine items
I then logged back in and I got 7 items
I went to a different laptop. Searched again not signed in, got all 9 items.
I then signed in on that laptop and only got 7.
So this is an ebay glitch. Looks like I have to get ahold of ebay. *sigh*
Thank you all for helping me figure this out!!

Did you even bother looking at the listings? Of course it's in the title. Why would I search something not in a title? While I appriciate you taking the time to reply, I feel you just pulled this one out of... nowhere.

eBay doesn't always show you your own listings in search @autopartspuller, but I thought it was only supposed to apply to general site-wide search and not within your store.

No I did not search FOR YOU. I went by what you told us. If you would like I will search for you and find your stuff but will need more info like a buyer would search. What kind of car and what other things would you tell a person at a parts store ?

I had the issue and when I filtered by list new items it showed all of them. The items weren’t all new though. Definitely a glitch

I think you misunderstood what I was asking/saying.
Specifically the issue is with my store. I was searching for items I knew I had listed. I also knew what was in the title so, I was using those terms. #1 & 2. were examples of how I searched the first time and what I had to do to get it to come up in my store. I only sell parts from corvettes, so when searching in my store, the type of car is irrelevant. All items say corvette.
I have figured out it's a glitch dealing specifically with my own searches within my store. When I am not logged in, I do not have the issue.
Thank you again for responding.

I have had the same problem. I put in a key word in my store search bar and click on the 🔎 and it doesn't do anything. Usually it will give you a message to the affect of no match. Also I have around 1,800 listings and my store says I only have around 1,000. I brought it to the attention of a merchant support representative and she said she would write a ticket for it, but I think we all know how that works.
