EVER HAVE ONE OF THESE CUSTOMERS ?

So here's whats going on. I sold a heart shaped pocket watch  that I had made into a Wizard of OZ  theme necklace   by putting it on a necklace chain and adding some charms including a hand made striped wicked witch stocking . This was over a month ago.   It was a real working time piece with crystal quartz movement ,, brand new .  The buyer  bought it and left me steller feedback . She also wrote me a personal note telling me how much she loved it and she said she wears it every day .  About a week went by and then she sends me another note asking me if the watch has copper in it ? I told her the only information I have is thats its made of a metal alloy .  So time goes by and I get another message  saying '' just for your information the watch ''coppered '' out - bummer''  .  I never replied to that message .This morning I got another message telling me the watch is copper and I'm stealing from my customers . Huh ? She paid 15.80  for this watch necklace  and got free shipping on top of it . I've sold several of these watch pendants and nobody has  ever complained . The thing that is so weird is she's stringing out these complaints  hit and miss  over time .I decided to check the feedback shes left for other sellers  and about  1/3 contain  complaints .  I don't know how to get her to leave me alone . Re: EVER HAVE ONE OF THESE CUSTOMERS ?

The paying for that feeling customer. They are hilarious after they pass the chargeback window.

"I had a good feeling when I bought this, now its gone, I want my feelings validated, assuaged, and to be told what a special customer I am. Then I will feel happy again and leave you alone. But I paid you for this thing only because I thought I would feel good, darnnit you did not give me my moneys worth."

Fist bump of empathy. But no easy fixes that I know of. Just hope she finds another thing to complain about soon.

#1.  Block her faster that a sonic boom!

#2.  I would be tempted/inclined,  to copy and paste her feedback history/complaints into a response message and say/write nothing more; therefore letting her know that you know this is not her first rodeo.

Re: EVER HAVE ONE OF THESE CUSTOMERS ?

Once a buyer passes the returns timeframe a seller has no further obligation towards this buyer.

You may completely ignore this buyer's messages, there are many things I would like to say and even more questions I would like to ask, however I can not see much of anything good coming from that so I believe it is best to observe quietude.

Much as I dislike the BBL I would probably add this buyer to it.

The problem is I would assume you are just descibing the "color" silver. My guess is since you said silver in the title and description, the buyer is upset that it is actual copper with silver plating. Tell her to return it for a refund.

Re: EVER HAVE ONE OF THESE CUSTOMERS ?

What exactly does coppered out mean?  Send her a reply that says maybe the tinfoil hat she is wearing is not protecting the watch from harmful secret radio waves the government is using to control people's minds.......

Re: EVER HAVE ONE OF THESE CUSTOMERS ?

Ahhhh yes.....

You are now her official psychologist. My favorite kind of customer.

You should write to tell her about all the wonderful health benefits of copper and how combined with the magic of the Wizard of Oz, it instills great intelligence, bravery to face and overcome adversity, a pure and kind heart & will always point the way home should she become lost.

The magical power of the copper provides head to toe protection, but ONLY if you believe in the power of the talisman. How it can sooth arthritis, improves blood flow, strengthen bones, help the body transport iron, control and level cholesterol, glucose and helps with heart muscle contraction and brain development so that the Wizard of Oz magic functions more effectively.

I am sure you can make up  some additional "magical" properties of this wonderful magical, hand made, talisman instilled with tremendous power as your forged it with your wiley magical ways.

I that doesn't work... I just don't know what will 🙂

Cheers

I would happily do that just to get her to stop messaging me  but she's had more than a month to start a return ,, but she hasnt . I believe she really likes the item she purchased  but is just fishing for a partial refund .  I don't understand what strength of quality  she expected for 15.80 with free shipping  if that is her true concern ,, but I doubt it.  Tulips

It's been so long since I've needed to block anyone  I've forgotten how . Plus I was always under the impression once you've had a transaction with a buyer  you can't block them ?  Anyway this buyer is as annoying as that long lost family member thats gets crazy drunk and decides to call you in the middle of the night  now and then . Thats funny  lol ,,  I decided to send her a reply  and I just said that I'm sorry shes unhappy with her purchase . I don't forge these watches myself nor am I able to test what they're made of . I described it as the color of silver just as described the color of the other charms that went with it .  I do that in all my listings because different moniters can show colors  in different ways.  Everyone else I've sold these necklaces too  has understood that . In light of all around slow sales and the bit with the silver I would likely give this refund idea strong consideration.

I realize the buyer is past the 30 day deadline as well, I also did read your reply to the buyer and find it to be "appropriate" which isn't to say the buyer will understand but I think it is important we stay away from humiliating or making fun of the buyer (which you didn't do).

Sorry but.... AND i am all for customer service, BUT a refund? ... May if you want good Karmas, or you are Canadian eh?, but  there is no need to refund... this sounds like a buyer who just wants to be friends...need attention....And it's not about the money....she receive what she paid for..and a fair price....if she had concerns about copper and or anything--questions BEFORE are asked....And she had plenty of time to return the item....

sometimes, it is just a NO..... but i don't think she asked either...

and the idea that she may have thought it was solid siver for that price....sorry but again....ask- don't assume and PLENTY of time to return.  SILVER is marked correct?

I'm just saying, if she opend a case, then fine, to avoid the headache....but buyer are also grown ups with the ability to type questions....if there is a doubt...she needed to ask.... would she ask if bought from a brick store?
