EBay non performer holds

Can anyone tell me why the funds from my buyer are being held. What does this mean?

How about some context (ie: where you see this) and more than a fragment of whatever message you are seeing.

Sorry, a payment from a buyer is on hold, I think I saw it on PayPal. It said non performer hold on payment, which I won't receive until after delivered. I'm non a new seller, been selling for awhile. The buyer has an unverified PayPal account, could that be part of it?

Ok, it says eBay non-performer after you touch the more arrow on your summery page in the balance box.

Have several of your buyers filed returns for 'not as described' lately?

Has your selling activity changed, maybe selling items of a higher value than usual or something else outside of your usual selling pattern?

I just looked at your sales. It appears you typically sell items under $10 but recently you sold a handful of items that were in a different category and higher value. That could be the reason for the payment hold.

Hi, sometimes if a seller has been absent for awhile, and then returns to selling after a period of time, eBay will hold their funds as they do new sellers.
