Missing listings

Has anyone noticed listings that are missing?

I was recently going thru listed folders and am finding that, at times, half the listed items are not listed.

I bought one magazine specifically for one ad and that ad was not listed.

I listed 2 large lots of haviland china ads recently yet when looking i found only one lot. I would not have deleted something that took me a good 20 minutes to put together, then leave the 2nd lot listed.

This seems to be happening more and more.

I don't think I'm crazy I think ebay is deleting listings alot of them

I should have a lot of 10 higgins seiter ads listed

a lot of 9 haviland ads.

a lot of 4 Haviland ads

and

a lot of 3 haviland ads listed

along with several other newer haviland ads.

Is that what you see?

The ad lot that was missing was a lot of 7, which i scanned and relisted today as 2 smaller lots.  there is no way I'm going to take the time it takes to make 2 ads lots, then delete one and leave the other.

Thank you 🙂 getting tired of doing the same work over and over once listed should stay listed.

Missing listings

Hi, eBay announced earlier this year that they would remove older listings that had no sales history for two years. Other than that, eBay removes listings not in compliance with rules or policies, but they send an message when they do so. Those are the main reasons that come to mind. If your missing items don’t fall into those instances, i might call Customer Service to see if there is an explanation. Good luck and let us know if you find out anything.

A lot of my listings are slow sellers and one of a kind, so I am content to let them sit for extended periods.

But eBay has pretty consistently added a note to these when they have been sitting for 16 months without selling.

I have made it a Best Practice to review my 'about to close' GTC listings for those warnings.

I usually just close them for a week or so. They rest in my Unsold List for 60 days quite happily if I decide not to relist them.

BTW- another Best Practice has been putting my Active List into alphabetical order from time to time and then scanning it for duplicate listings. EBay doesn't always catch those
