EBay has flagged me as a drop-shipper, even though I own all of my items and every item has been mailed from my home office (same address), except the first.
My first sale was a drop ship in March 2021, but then I was told drop shipping is not allowed. So I deleted the listings and got my own inventory. I have been told by 2 reps that I am flagged as a drop-shipper and by all the other reps that I am not. I should be Top Rated, but I keep getting Above Standard. Also Ebay will not increase my seller listings above 470 items.
I have tried to work with EBay Contact, but nothing ever changes. They promise to help, but nothing happens. Please, help if you can and let me know if there is anything I can do!!

I've never heard of being called a drop shipper. eBay is a drop shipper-check out Bulq.
Ebay cares about two things-both are whether your buyers are happy. Do they complain, or file disputes? Then eBay is unhappy with you. Happy buyers and sellers who pay their fees are all eBay really judges on anymore.
I cannot acess your profile, but one way to list more (as long as you are still within your limits) is with an eBay store.
That old percentage we used to have was important and removing it wasn't smart. Happy buyers, no matter how you ship + money received + fees paid quickly should be making eBay love you.
So what is the issue?

@cannongirl_llc, I don't see anything wrong with your pictures. They look like your own pictures, not like stock photos.
When I sorted your items by distance, I noticed that two of your listings don't have a zip code on them, so they don't comply with the item location policy. This has been known to set a red flag for drop-shipping before. The two without a zip code just show the location as "United States" because it can't computer a distance.

EBay allows drop shipping. What has happened because you're flagged? Try using calculated shipping. Free shipping is one way to ID possible drop shippers.

Just to clarify, eBay allows wholesale drop shipping ... not retail drop shipping (e.g., from Walmart, Amazon, Home Depot, etc.)
OP, if I am reading your problem correctly, you are saying that the eBay system is not allowing you to be TRS because you have been flagged as a drop-shipper, correct? If that is the case, most customer service reps you would reach on the phone will not have the power to change that.
You would need to find a different CS agent. The ones on FaceBook, for example, might be more helpful.

I can spot a drop shipper a mile away, the telltale signs are:
1. many thousands of listings.
2. Bad shipping time ratings.
3. all stock photos
4. lots of bad feedback with complaints about being out of stock and receiving the item from somewhere else.
Since you have none of these with perfect metrics, 100% not a drop shipper.
I actually did not know that drop shipping was not allowed, is that something new?
I have done it myself a handful of times when I sold something that I could not find or ended up being broken, just bought from a different seller and sent it.

@bashort, true drop-shipping is definitely allowed by eBay. That is where a seller has a contract with a supplier to fulfill their sales.

What you did was not drop-shipping, it is usually called "retail arbitrage". You're not supposed to purchase items from another seller or retailer after you have made the sale. However, the chances are that if you do it rarely, in the circumstances you describe, you would not be caught, flagged or sanctioned for it. eBay really wants for sellers to NOT use this as their business model, because it often leads to delays, out-of-stock, and dissatisfied buyers.

I have ended those two listings, I tried to change the zip code, but the system would not let me. I contacted EBay and they said it is a known error. I need to figure out who to talk to that can really “repair” my account. Thank You for spotting that!

How do I get in contact with a FB CS agent or someone at EBay that can really help? Thank You!!

I scanned through your items and I see one glaring issue. I know, used is OK, but everything is black and white, slightly beat up and dirty. Most of us clean what we sell. We may buy a dirty handbag to resale, but we don't sell it beat up and dirty.
Add some color, add some interest and make it look ike you have a nice inventory, not stuff you found on the road. And try to be more descriptive. I looked at a computer lock and my first thought was OK, but how does it work? And I stil do not know.

You can contact eBay CS at facebook.com/eBayForBusiness and twitter.com/eBayForBusiness. The reps there are very knowledgeable and helpful.

keep calling back until you get someone who can help you, when you get someone who is clueless, hang up and try again.
