EBAY LAWSUIT MC011

At this point I'm beginning a lawsuit with eBay no seller or buyer should ever experience this horrible support. Recently I lose my day time job and began reselling  fulltime with personal and stuff I bought on eBay, as soon as my sales approach 20k I was hit with a MC011 email (November the 6th). I couldn't revise or list anything (please note people were buying stuff from Puerto Rico and asking me to ship to them for free which I do not offer which forced multiple cases). After many research people who get mc011 are people who doesn't ship their product out or drop shippers which I'm neither. After 8 days  (November 14) which i devoted the whole days to solving the issue no one seemed to help me. i have reply to the email countless times saying to reply after you upload your tracking number but after I reply I receive another email saying the email cant receive email. I'm really tired and frustrated as a seller with eBay, eBay only treat buyer nicely but when it comes to seller they treat us like trash. i have been hung up on left on hold for hours and i have experience many chat agents simply leaving the chat, as a seller we should not be treat like this.  Alll my item have been shipped out, every case that happens i simply refund the buyer and tell them that they can keep the item free of charge. i am tried of this and this needs to change

Well..and now adding managed payments doesn't help either...I'm not sure I REALLY love the idea of handing over  Ebay my SS # and other info....especially  since they ARE so kind and wonderful to me as a seller.

The SS# goes to Adyen - not Ebay - because Adyen is taking over from Paypal as your payment processor so that is needed for reporting your income to the IRS. Paypal has your SS# for the same reason.

The last feedback was a Neg for no item received and no communication so that was probably for the best.

Re: EBAY LAWSUIT MC011

The fact that you were selling things like sanitizing wipes, which are currently against the rules might have had something to do with the ban

Re: EBAY LAWSUIT MC011

This is a very common thing for sellers to experience (especially new ones or ones that haven't sold high volumes in the past) when rapidly increasing their sales volume.

The process to resolve the account limits you are facing goes through a different department vs ones that are reachable by phone.   They rarely pass someone directly to Trust and Safety but I assure you that it will be reviewed.  If you have provided them what they asked for and they feel comfortable with the risk involved with the items, methods, ship times, number of cases opened, etc, they will increase the monthly limits on your account and you will be back in action.  Unfortunately until they make that review, you're stuck for the moment.  I would continue to ship any items that have been purchased even though they might have a temporary hold on the funds.

on another note, I definitely wouldn't be leaving a mountain of boxes for the mailman to pick up.  That looks like an invitation for a thief to load up and you wont like having to refund 25 people.  We are coming into the season of the thieves.

Best

Sonic

That will certainly happen with those kind of numbers.  Some think you can come here and just do as you wish.  They learn the hard way they can't.  It is sad because they were depending on this income to keep a roof over their head and food on the table.  It goes to show you will be better off if you learn the rules the best you can, at least the basic rules, before starting to sell.

Thank you Brian.  After I tagged you it came to light some of the issues this seller was having, which explained their current situation.

Re: EBAY LAWSUIT MC011

shipping to Puerto Rico is not the same as shippng to California.  I am not sure where you are getting your info, but I live in florida and do not offer shipping to Puerto Rico for that same reason.  Its been a big deal.  I fly to Puerto Rico all the time as I am a flight attendant, but we cannot ship to Puerto Rico the same as California.  Make sure you are posting  correct info.

That lawsuit won't do any good, waste your time and money.

The best way to fix problems such as these is to look at the seller's dashboard closely about once a day and see if you spot any inconsistencies whatsoever, and if you do start addressing them... Don't wait until an inconsistency becomes a problem, in the absolute worst case scenario you should be looking for a solution at first notice from ebay because they almost always send several warnings but again if you have to wait for a warning that may be too late already.
This isn't the kind of thing that results in an account suspension overnight either, unless you just so happen... I mean look at that picture with all those packages, are you shipping that much every day?
Maybe slow down a little, it helps to start with shipping a few packages a day and then monitor that progress to make sure there are no problems... Perhaps at this stage if you read some articles on how to start selling on ebay that might be helpful and I may suggest curb the selling before they restrict the account permanently.

Which, having read further I see it looks to be too late for that...

Not going to edit the above, it may help someone else from following the same path.

Always test the waters before blowing full fart.

It think that is going to depend on HOW you ship.  USPS Media mail and Flat rate Priority mail I use all the time and they are the same rates to PR.  So it could depend on the carrier and class of shipping.

Re: EBAY LAWSUIT MC011

Your late shipment rate is horrible.  The picture of those boxes waiting to be shipped makes sense - you held items for way too long.  Good luck in getting this turned around.  I suspect that CS isn't terribly helpful with you b/c you are way too aggressive with them.

Re: EBAY LAWSUIT MC011

Recently my account triggered an MC011 as well and eBay is asking for ID / bill / invoices. I supplied them with everything and NO we do not drop ship anything what so ever. I have a 10,000 sq ft warehouse to store all the lab equipment I am selling. All products have been purchased outright, transported to our warehouse facility where we take pictures, list and ship from. Why would my account be triggered for something typically triggered by drop shippers?

Someone or eBay please advise...

Thanks,

Mike

Does it matter now as you are no longer a registered user?

96.8% positive feedback 😞

Please this is the kind of selling that gives all of eBay sellers a bad rap
