Don't Use Shiply

I was provided a shipper by Shiply and as soon as I paid the $700 deposit to the shipper and the $360 to Shiply the shipper, Off Road Kings stopped communicating and Shiply suspended their account.  My money has not been recovered and Shiply just said to contact local law enforcement.  LLEA can't investigate international theft!

\Don't exactly understand the part where you paid "$700 deposit to the shipper" and the "$360 to Shiply the shipper", but assume one of those is what you paid to the seller, right?

In the listing where you made the purchase, you saw an ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE.  If/when that date has passed by at least one day, you can open an item not received case with eBay.  This is covered under the eBay Money Back Guarantee, which, BTW, ALL eBay buyers need to be familiar with.

What is LLEA?

What does Shiply have to do with ebay?

Sounds more like you were scammed out of your money.

What were you paying a deposit on/for?  Was it listed on eBay?  What is the item#?

If it was a vehicle that you found listed on another site and were told it was being handled through eBay, it was a scam.

Where did you find this item listed? And, again, what's LLEA?

Local Law Enforcement Agencies, I would guess.

From what I see of the poster's feedback left for others, they seem to have had one problem after another with sellers here, possibly dubious sellers of junk from China, and perhaps also just outright scammers found elsewhere who pretend to be conducting a sale through eBay. This case sounds like the latter, but without more details on what has happened so far, it's hard to understand for sure.
