Does eBay have a feature that allows me to pause all of my fixed price listings.

Like if I want to go on a vacation for 10 days or visit relatives or go in the hospital. They can't buy from me for 10 days. Just fixed price and no auction listings listed.

I just extend my handling time to more days so I can ship when I return.

There is a 'time away' function that you can use to hide your listings. If you prefer to leave them up, you can change your handling time. But for 10 days, I would definitely hide my listings.

On my seller hub if I go to the overview tab and look under Seller tools I have a link to Time Away which allows you to shut off your listings for a period of time, plus there are other options.

if memory serves me correct...IF you do not 'hide' your items (but leave them available during time away) you MUST alter your handling time.....(to accommodate the period you're are going to be away)

I hope not!  Due to a snow storm I put my listings on "time Away" this morning.  I was going to turn listings off instead of changing handling but I noticed one of the options was to allow buyers to buy your items and you could ship after returning and you would not need to alter your handling time.

I hope I am suffering from brain fade....but I think I am on point......

it is pretty simple to change ALL your handling times at once....as an example....when I was on vacation (10 days) I left my items listed as available...changed my default handling time from same day to 10 days.....with 5 days to go, I changed them all to 5 days....with 3 days to go I changed the handling time again.....right up to when I got on the plane to fly home (1 day)

As @monica-sells mentioned, I  remember reading on the board that using time away without pausing sales does change your estimated delivery time but NOT your handling time.  If that's true, there is still the possibility of getting late shipments if you don't change your handling time.   I haven't used it myself so perhaps someone who has used it can confirm that's how it works.

If you use time away and don't hide your listings, your handling time will be extended out corresponding to the time you are going to be away.  You no longer have to change handling times.  I've used this feature many times over the last few months due to weather related reasons.

Is that something that's changed since they originally rolled it out?  I thought that some people were complaining that it didn't change handling time. The info on the help page isn't super helpful about that.

Oh, now that I don't know. I've never had an issue with it.   I have a one day handling time and it always appeared to extend out the delivery time far enough, but I really don't know because I do flat rate economy anyway just to have the extra long delivery window.
