Did you mean:

Does anyone else have trouble with Watchers not being seen on your items?

Title.

Just wanted to know, because I have some items with different watcher amounts, and it only shows just one item having watchers, other items have more watchers on them than the particular item being shown.

Is that like, an ebay glitch, do they moderate for some reason?

I'm just asking because of course I'd like my items to sell, and as a buyer myself too, seeing if anyone else is watching it affects my decision more.

I don’t see nor care if your item has watchers. Why would that have any input on my buying decision?

As a seller if an item has more watchers as the other doesn’t there may be a number of things going on like available, rare, title, description, pricing etc.

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

Re: Does anyone else have trouble with Watchers not being seen on your items?

eBay has a series of possible messages that might be included in your listing, and eBay picks whichever messages seem to be correlated with increased sales for those items. "Free shipping" "1 left" and "Ships from the United States" may appear, among others such as "A seller you have bought from" or "Located near you".

Typically the number of Watchers is only shown if the number is greater than some threshold value, possibly around five.

I can see Watchers listed on at least one of your items:

Another of your items shows a number of users watching when viewed in a search:

There is one thing I have noticed over the years. The more watchers the more the item is over-priced. Other sellers selling the same thing as you see your high price and want to see if the item actually sells. As a buyer I normally hit the back button on items with lots of watchers.

Hi@loveyourimagination49 For some shoppers, a number of watchers displayed on a listing might create a sense of urgency. In other words, i better buy this popular thing now before someone else snatches it up!

@fashunu4eeuh

I disagree as if it was actually that much in demand it would have sold prior to getting that many watchers.

Hi yeah I just wanted to know how it worked. I was reading from a page back from years ago and just wanted to know if there was some kind of pattern to it. I like how useful the watchers feature is when I'm buying, so I'd like to show that some items are being watched.

I was looking over some of my items, and can see them being watched on their pages, was just wondering why some might just appear on my items page, or at least in my current situation, just one item showing how many people are watching it.

to me a watcher is just a buyer interested in buying your item, but wanting you to lower the price.

I'm no longer able to see if I have any watchers at all.

This person knows what everything is worth so they know when it is overpriced.  Especially if that item is the only one posted on eBay & there are no comparable prices or completed sales to evaluate said prices.  lol   If it doesn't sell, well, it is simply because it is overpriced.  Otherwise, EVEYTHING sells here.   😛
