I listed an item in error while "practicing" how to do it. I have already received bids. How can I fix this?

The Waterford crystal decanter? The one you listed without pictures?
I hope you actually do have it in your possession rather than just use it as a practice exercise.
If you do have it in your possession, you will be required to ship it to the person who gives the highest bid as soon as their payment is confirmed.
Oh, it was a family heirloom? Too bad.
Two basic bits of wisdom for selling on eBay are (1) bids on all listings create a binding contract for the buyer to pay and for the seller, you, to send to that buyer, and (2) never, ever, never list anything you cannot afford to lose.
Some lessons are more expensive than others.

It is not too late to end that listing. At the top of this page, look for the words "help and contact" Click on that s it is a link.
At that link you will see help pages and a search box. Put in the search "end my listing cancel bids" and you will see instructions on how to end the listing.
Be sure to cancel the bids first.
Do it today, do not wait.. You only have a limited time to cancel.
Good luck

What I don't understand is how that listing was even allowed to go live.
I know -I- can't send a listing live with no photos. I get a nasty message from ebay if I try.

Hello.
If you have the item for this listing with no pictures, and 7 bids already, immediately add some pictures like your other listing.
It must be a very popular item for some collectors to already make bids on with no pictures!
There are still five days left on this auction.
If you do not have this item you listed, cancel the bids first then cancel the listing.
Good luck!

You need to cancel the bids and then end the listing.

@ronsam-197. Geez that is weird but you somehow hit list it...when you should have kept it as a draft.
Good advise already given just be very careful next time. BTW is it the same decanter that is shown with the cordials?

OK, now that you weaseled out of that disaster I would suggest creating listings on small unbreakable items that you see other people sell on ebay. Always upload at least three photos of what you are selling unless two photos shows both sides of a baseball card or matchbook cover to give potential bidders all the close up details necessary. You can also preview listings without posting them. I used to do that often when I wasted time and money paying for frames and borders.
I'm not going to look at your listing again but it I were to list expensive glass items I would photograph each glass individually up close starting with the glass on the left in the overall photo working to the right side.
