Does anybody know how to stop these annoying eBay pop-ups...

Every time I log into eBay now, I'm greeted with annoying eBay messages like this.. It says you can turn them off in the Notification Preferences, but when you go there, I don't see an option to turn them off. Thanks!

I get it on one of three accounts and clicked nearly everything on that link, nothing. So annoying! Someone asked last week and I never seen a solution.

Same boat here but the message is different.  The link seems to be useless and I refuse to sign up when it feels forced.  Kind of like the MLB dote comb e-mails without an unsubscribe link that works.  I sent that one to my lawyer and he is looking into sending a cease and desist letter.  I signed up for the playoffs at the office in 2009 and cancelled within 30 days yet can't get the emails to stop. 

So, in order to sign in to ebay most days I am required to identify as a boat, bicycle or truck, click through three additional sign in buttons to actually get to the one that works and then THIS latest page pops up that needs to be dealt with unless we sign up for whatever new fangled program some kid thought up.

No wonder so many people are unplugging from technology these days.

This is there main money maker, ebay's stocks are tumbling and sellers and buyers are leaving so ebay is pounding this down our throat hoping we swallow it. Not me, I wont use this, I pay enough in fees and for the store with very little in return.

In the past some users have encountered problems with similar pop-up messages in some browsers. It might be worth trying a different browser to see if you can successfully dismiss the message that way. Once successfully dismissed, I believe the message should no longer appear for that account in any browser.

Chrome and Safari users on Macs in particular seem to have had issues with these sorts of things previously.

I use Waterfox Classic with AdBlockPlus addon. No popups or other nonsense. Works for me. Try it. you might like it.
