I sold a now well known inexpensive, perfectly legal in all states National Match Shim for removing play inherent with AR15 Receivers on ebay for years. After zero issues, zero negatives, neutrals and all positives one day my listing for the shim I invented and manufacture was singled out and removed. Apparently anti-gun ebay does not know US History Defines Gun Control as an Agenda Rooted in Discrimination, Racism and Genocide. The blatant discrimination that has happened to myself and many others exercising what is legally related to a Constitutional Right remains alive and well on ebay. Frankly I have to hold my nose to visit ebay not to mention listing other items I invented for guitars. If anyone thinks I have not considered a lawsuit...think again.

"Constitutional right' has nothing to do with Ebay as you are finding out. This is not the U.S. government, this is Ebay and they call the shots on what is allowed to be sold on their site.Good luck with that lawsuit.

You or I have no right to sell anything on Ebay which Ebay chooses not to allow us to sell.
The second amendment is irrelevant to whether we can sell it here, as is the first amendment.
Many of us have been censored in the past and continue to be censored.
You can sell what Ebay allows you to under its seller agreement or choose not to sell anything here.
I know of no internet marketplace which does not in some way restrict the sale of some items which are legal to sell. If one sells on a marketplace, one has to live with that. Your alternative is your own website, and the cost and effort required to build and promote it.
As for where you choose to buy - you are free to avoid any and all internet marketplaces.
If I wrote the rules for what can be sold here, it would likely differ from the rules anyone else would right, but I do not own Ebay.

What does the OP's... "not to mention listing other items I invented for guitars" mean? We in Nashville need to know. 🤠

An item doesn't have to be illegal in order for ebay to ban it.
They can ban anything they want.
If you don't like it, you have the right not to do business with them.
God bless America.

"What does the OP's... "not to mention listing other items I invented for guitars" mean? "
The OP seems to have removed everything from their site -- so I guess we'll never know.

Discrimination? Please.....
Lawsuit? Please let us know when it's filed. I'd love to watch the progress.
BTW, I assume you must have another ID on which you're selling your "National Match Shim" because I don't see any history of your ever being a seller on this ID @novasscootya.

Hi, you are probably already aware of the firearms and accessories policy, but have included a link for it below, for those who are not.
It is possible that there was some minor infraction in your listing that caused the takedown. What exactly did eBay blame the removal on?

ebay does not like black scarry guns and they do not allow parts or accessories of any kind for black scarry guns to be sold.

If you file a lawsuit against eBay, could you come back to this Selling forum and tell us the state and county where you file, and the case number? All of that is public record information in every state, so I'm not asking you to publish private info. This will help some of us follow your progress without you having to come back and report every couple of weeks.

I am very pro 2a but the idea that ebay should have to allow you or anyone else to sell something that they do not want sold here is contrary to every principal based on the US constitution.
A lawsuit for this would be immediately dismissed, if you were lucky, if you were unlucky they would drag it out for a couple years, then dismiss it.

Nobody put an AR15 to your head and forced you to enroll in the eBay Terms of Service agreement. You voluntarily agreed that eBay can forbid certain items to be listed. You agreed to binding arbitration and forfeited your right to file a lawsuit. Sorry for your losses.
