I have had consistent sales for years. I have averaged $75 a day for the last two years. I have not had a question, offer, response to offer sent, or a sale since November 1st. It is like my account ceased to exist on the 1st day off November. Can someone please help me make sense of this.

Sorry, I don't have any answers for you.

Welcome to the new improved updated Ebay

For some reason the Items Sold list (on the left of your Active Listings) does not put your sold items in date order for me.
But it looks as if you may average $75 a day, but you don't necessarily sell every day.
So this may just be a longer than average slowdown.
Try it yourself- if necessary get a paper and pencil and note dates and values for the past two months. Is your belief accurate or is it just a sinking feeling?
Then compare your sales in October/November 2023 -2022-2019 to 2024 (We skip the pandemic surge in online sales.)
It is true that when you have sales, you get more sales. And vice versa, a few days without sales can lead to more and more days without sales.
I'm not sure if nine days is an emergency, but you could try Promoted Listings at the minimum 2%.
These increase your Visibility and may lead to more sales-- but not necessarily of the PL items. Put it on your oldest listings to start with.
Use Best Offer, again at a low rate, 10%?, to stimulate the Viewers you have been getting recently and the Watchers who have been around for ages.
It strikes me that your goods are used to replace broken items in the set of Good China.
And with the holiday season upon us (Diwahli is already over!) some opportunities should be there.
Mention completing sets in your Offers.
Once sales start up again, you can drop these as short term measures.

I feel your pain. But cheer up tomorrow is a new day!

The search function on eBay is so bad that buyers are looking elsewhere. Some may want to claim it is a "you" problem with the items you are selling but when all the other places you sell have either increased in sales or held the status quo that is a clear indication it is an eBay problem.
I have had consistant sales for 26 years on eBay. This year I am down over 50%. Two other sites I use are up (and by a LOT). Another I use has not changed for better or worse.

I bet it has something to do with the new messaging system.

MAYBE - but more likely jitters over the 2028 presidential election.

Well they don't call November 1 as "Day of the Dead" for nothing.

That new message system is a real carp show! It is not easy on the eyes thats for sure and I am already having problems with it. Keeps telling me I have an unread message and then when I click on the link it shows an open mailbox and says "no messages".

Well there were certainly no jitters on Wall Street and the transition of power is not until January.

I had no orders starting the weekend before election day, and orders started again when the results were announced.
Is it a cause for the effect, maybe or maybe not.
There is always some effect on my sales when the headlines are troubling, and sometimes when then headlines are good.
Many people never see or read a headline other than on a social media post, so clearly they are not affected by the news.
I find any correlation with the Ebay messaging system to be fanciful, but any negative attributions to it get an amen. Time for another Ebay layoff.

Do you have new competition?
Did one of your competitors start heavily promoting their listings?
Is this just a fluke?

I feel you. Trust me I do. Looks like my family and I will starve this winter. I shut down for December to handle inventory and general maintenance. If sales don't massively improve in the next 3 weeks, my children certainly won't have a Merry Christmas this year.
I haven't had a "GREAT" day in weeks. Not good.

If that's the case why are you shutting down for the month of December ? When times get tough for me i work twice as hard. Just saying.
