There are actually two Keynotes today, one at 12 noon and one at 2 PM. Also, ebay stores is a topic at 1 PM. At 1:30 they will be doing a Demo of ebay "Live" the livestreaming feature ebay has been experimenting with....whether there will be an Announcement about availability for the general seller community, or just a demo, remains to be seen. Full agenda can be seen on the ebay Open page.
I'm expecting some follow up to yesterday's hints about changes to how international returns are handled and about immediate payments with offers. Of course, there could be other stuff as well, but those are the two topics they hinted at yesterday.
I know many either can't make it to ebay Open, or simply don't want to bother, but I'm sure a recap will be available here: valueaddedresource.net
And of course, I'm sure if we have time some of us attendees will try to post highlights (if any---LOL) on this Board.

I imagine they'll work it in ---maybe---at the end of the day tomorrow, and of course I'd love to hear Andrea tell us about their plans for a big marketing push for the site (not just the verticals), but I'd also like to find a treasure chest of gold doubloons in my backyard tomorrow morning, and I figure the odds are about the same. It would be nice if they gave us some hint or encouragement about their Q4 plans.
I love your optimism. I really do (not being sarcastic).
There will be no marketing push unless it is about "the vault" or something to do with items that get authenticated to sell them.
Sends the wrong message really - we can keep you "safe" with the "vault" and watches and handbags and high-end sneakers......anything else, it is a crap-shoot - you are on your own! *but merry christ-moose any way*

@katzrul15 LOL! No, I'm not optimistic at all. I've been saying that this year will be like last year---ebay's marketing spend will go to targeted marketing for the Verticals. They've basically got one chance left in ebay Open to prove me wrong, but I don't expect they will.
I think it's folly to focus on the Verticals in Q4...they've done it all year, now's the time to focus on the site itself.
But I'm not in charge of ebay marketing LOL

Starting to wonder if anyone is! (or if they are some remote worker who silently quit months ago!)

Well, I think Andrea is. And in her presentation on Wednesday she seemed very proud of all the work she had done for the Verticals.
