Hi Rosemary (love ya girl...you be you). Unfortunately, EBAY does not remove "negative feedback" due to shipping delays. While I agree with you that EBAY should remove negative feedback about "shipping delays due to bad weather" unfortunately only items listed below are protected.
If your business is impacted, eBay will automatically protect your seller performance, including:

1) 'FEEBAY' is a tired old joke. Find something more creative to say.
2) Why do you keep writing in that weird ethnic stereotype way?

TITLE>>>DOES EBAY NOT GIVE ANY SELLER PROTECTION WHEN DELAYS ARE CAUSED BY USPS, FEDEX, UPS ETC????????????
POST>>> I get emails from Ebay that say "seller protection due to storm blah blah". I just saw a big seller selling a fishing lure for $7.22 with free shipping (how they are making a profit, I do not know. My profit would be $2). Anyway they have poor ratings at 96.9% positive. A bunch of items, 3,800 for sale. I glanced at their feedback and they have a bunch of negatives. Many negatives and neutrals that refer to shipping and delivery times. Isn't Ebay supposed to REMOVE these?
One even said "seller shipped last item quickly via USPS". There's not much more you can do as we have no control over carriers whether they are USPS, Fedex or UPS.

Answer to question in Title;
No; not automatically. It's up to the seller to fight for removal as MOST of those 'delays' are NOT caused by the XYZ that ebay is talking about.

What does the profit you make on cheap fishing lures have to do with late shipments?

I suspect that the OP is trying to build support for an "ignore user" function here on these boards.
(Geez, if only.)

I vaguely remember many years ago when there was some kind of ignore button on these boards where you could "ignore" someone's postings if you wanted.

And the great thing about such a feature is that we can all converse with whom we choose, and no one's "feelings" get hurt.
On the other hand, I can see how the mods would find that ^ state of affairs positively soporific.

as has been noted................. you have no "negative feedback" so apparently ...............?
Are you talking about "feedback", or are you referring to "account dings" related to shipping?

Check your metrics - if your scans are in order, the dings should be taken off. Your feedback is fine.

It is hard to comment on that when we don't have the details of the transactions. As a guess, I'd say the seller wasn't real worried about it and didn't fight them as they could have.
While some are saying Ebay doesn't protect sellers for this, they do if the buyer actually says in the feedback that the shipment was late [if the seller shipped withing their handling time and it was scanned].
I know you selected a solution to your questions, but it isn't completely accurate.
We remove neutral/negative feedback when the buyer is referencing:
See example
Akash sold a small car part to an international buyer, and the buyer left negative feedback that said “Import duties way too high”. Since Akash was not the cause of the issue with taxes, the feedback is removable.
