Has this happened to anyone else?
eBay marked a transaction as a transaction defect when it was refund of excess shipping said buyer paid. Bought several including 3 of my higher amount ones which has $0.95. Refunded the one the one item that was exactly the same amount and listed as shipping discount. Even put it back on eBay and refused to change it. Gave them a horrible review for CS. They can see I was not out of stock. Have many of that same item. Time to leave eBay perhaps its been deader then a doornail the last few days. Horrible CS and that says a lot about a company/website.

one time I did a customer requested cancel and got hit with a seller canceled, they told me I picked out of stock and it is possible but I did not think so but like you I had sold hundreds of these and had over 100 showing available so it was pretty obvious that I was not out of stock but they would or could not change it. I do not even bother calling the totally worthless craptacular so called customer service any more, to get to talk to someone who knows absolutely nothing about ebay and I simply can not understand what they are saying

Thank you for the reply. That does make sense and I am glad I am not the only one to have this mix up by eBay. If I do it again will make sure its not the exact same amount as item sold cost.

'refunded the one'...I did that and got an 'out of stock' and a 'ding as well...artificial intelligence does this.
Have to be really careful on refunds as I learned...cannot refund an item unless buyer opens a claim...real stupid but it is what it is.
If I had refunded everything but one penny maybe this would not have happened. Just a thought.
