Hello. I have been buying on eBay for the last 18 years. For the past 2 i have been selling designer bags, gold, silver, etc., on the platform. I own a physical shop in LA, where I also sell.
For the past month, i have been hit with counterfeit item violations mostly for Louis. Vuitton bags. Mind you, all the bags are going through eBay authenticity department and all of my bags always pass their review and get authenticated. I always photograph actual items on sale. Make very detail’s pictures. At this point i’m just not sure what to do. I’ve reached to eBay business through Facebook but they weren’t able to help me saying that the receipt is not a proof that the bag is authentic. Then what is? So they want us to authenticate through a 3rd party before listing on eBay. I am at loss of words and frustrated. This is 3rd restriction for the past 3 weeks and eventually this account is going to be suspended.
do i close this account and simply open a new one? With the way things are going they will flag another one of my bags and flag it as fake and again suspend my account.
Open to any recommendations. Thank you.

Have you thought of posting those bags on the Fashion board? A few LV experts in there, at least get another opinion on the bags, and maybe they can advise you.

Your post confuses me because first you say, "all the bags are going through eBay authenticity department and all of my bags always pass their review," and then you say, "... they want us to authenticate through a 3rd party before listing on eBay."
So, do you use eBay's third-party authentication, or do you not? If so, is that authenticator telling you the bags are counterfeit, or not?
As for a receipt, it proves nothing. First, because receipts can be faked. Second, because people buy the real thing from a retailer and then return a fake for a refund. Store employees can't tell the difference in the goods, so the thief has the genuine article plus its retail value in cash. You can see why it's a popular form of thievery
STOP relisting this stuff. Yes, you will be suspended. No, you will not be able to open another account, plus everyone associated with your account in any way will also be permanently suspended.

a.) 1st; a 10 day means this is NOT the first time you've been 'suspended' for this reason.
b.) You are now on the bot radar so do NOT EVER list this type item again.
c.) Opening 'another' account does nothing as you will ALWAYS still be connected to the 'old' account so NOTHING will change.
d.) NOBODY can 'confirm' what you are selling, so contacting anyone is a waste.
e.) NOBODY can confirm what you are sending
f.) Because this site has 'other country' sellers sell here that are difficult to shut down and or/sue because of 'fakes' it is known that 'fakes' do get through on this platform; therefore LV doesn't want ANYONE selling their stuff unless they are a 'licensed distributor' (licensed BY the Copyright Owner). Therefore, they have the 'right' to call your stuff 'fake' and have it taken down (like it, legal etc. or not)
Best bet it you are done selling those things here. Best to find another venue.

All the luxury bags are going through eBay Authenticity Guarantee program after the sale. If you read my message carefully you would notice i am mentioning that bags always pass authenticity. Also, where do I ever mention in my post that I relist banned listings. 🙄

Funny thing though, the bag was listed for several months. I simply lowered the price and this morning got notification.

I would take down all LV items and not sell them.
It will not matter if you can 100% prove that they are not counterfeit.
This is a 10 day... The BOTs are now watching you.
The next will be longer and you are not far away from 100% selling suspension.

Thank you. But I literally follow every step in this guide. In this guide says: “Sell with confidence. Our authenticity team checks and verifies authenticity of the bag.” Lol
doesn’t make sense lol

As another poster suggested, I would post pictures of a couple of the bags that were removed on the fashion or handbag board. The ladies there may be able to give you a suggestion.

Thanks. I’ve made posts on both boards. We shall see. I feel like it is useless though. You follow the rules every step of the way and nothing. I have been slowly migrating and selling on Shopify. Build my own site. The traffic on eBay is great but this treatment of sellers is unbearable already.
