My eBay account has been active for just 10 weeks. I made many listings in the first 3 weeks and had some removed because they were apparently deemed counterfeit. Being very new I did not know what this really meant so kept making listings and seeing some of them removed. Initially I could not discover the reasons why so that I could rectify the situation. My account was suspended for 3 days and then while I was on holiday it was suspended for 7 days. I had long conversations about this and learnt about licensed items, copyright words, stock images and understand why my items were removed. My lack of knowledge means I am now on the verge of having my account closed, so although this was all genuine errors on my part I remain in a state of worry because the slightest new error on my part will see me finished.
HOWEVER, my big irritation is that there are many, many other sellers listing the same products which should be remove instantly because they breech the rules. I am penalised, my sales have fallen, but others appear to be continuing. I reported a few listings but this takes time and I think affects my account. I have talked to eBay who say they will request the counterfeit team to do something about it, I made a note of some

If I cannot sell these items it seems grossly unfair that others still can.
