I spend "0".

I use promoted listings standard. It uses a set percentage you set, takes that percentage of your total value at time of sale (same was FVFs do), if the buyer clicked on a promoted ad for your listing within the past 30 days.
No upfront or daily or regular ad fees, ad fee only charged at time of sale.
Works for me. Doesnt work for everyone.

The phrase "How much should i spend for ads each day" suggests you are thinking about using a pay-per-click ad campaign. That concept is only advantageous to large sellers who have the margins to absorb the cost. Few small sellers use those type of ads. Better to just use promoted listings and then only if your items have lots of competition.

If you are talking about promoted listings, personally I never have used nor will I ever use PL. Others will swear by the use of PL. A lot of it probably depends on what you are selling and how saturated the marketplace is for those items.
Make sure you read and understand the use of PL and what the cost implications are. You appear to be a new seller I would suggest starting out without the use of PL and see how your sales go. You can adjust down the road based on your own assessment of your outcomes.

You don't spend anything till/if they sell. There are no insert fees for the first 250 items each month. There are some addons that do cost for each item the addons are used on.
Suggest you read up about selling on eBay before you even list the first item.
You may have $ and number of items limits you can list every 30 days, along with payment holds up to 30 days.
Are you signed up for managed pay?

Zero.

None if you don't want to. It isn't required. I would recommend getting some experience as a seller under your belt and a feel for the category you will be selling in first. You have lots of rules and stuff to learn right now and that is what you need to be concentrating on now.
Not everyone uses promoted listings. Some do of course. It works great in some categories and not so much in others. But to know how the items you sell will react, you need some experience first.
I wish you nothing but the best of luck.

Nothing. It is FREE on Ebay to list 10 items. Good luck !!!!!

Don't scare the new seller. That is unfair and what you said is untrue. Their 10 listing were listed for free. No insertion fee would have applied.

It cost nothing to list on Ebay. In fact you can get list 250 items. Not sure why you think I am scaring the OP. Of course it cost FVF to sell an item. It would be crazy of the OP to spend money on ads.
Because of what you said "Nothing. It is FREE on Ebay to list 10 items. Good luck !!!!!"

Please make sure you read everything about selling on eBay BEFORE you start posting your listings.
After you've done that reading, feel free to return here and ask any questions you have.

@mam98031 Just for your clarification. The OP asked how much should she spend on ads. I answered "Nothing" meaning she should not spend anything on ads. I then went on to say in the next sentence that it is free to list on Ebay, which it is. 😀

I read it exactly as @coolections meant it, how much do you spend on ads, "nothing".
